It's actually easier to jump with speed, the last time I jumped off a bench I ended up over the handlebars and breaking my collar bone but luckily my bike was fine.
I didn't really catch it until the cut at the very end, and realized it's actually nice to see someone with experience and skill back out of a challenge they're not feeling. Makes the whole thing seem more relatable - kids do change you!
Bloody hell, Blakes' laugh when Chris got cased on the way up to the table is so epic. It never gets old. Same as when Doddy got eaten by the bush..LOL

But honestly, it's always nice to see someone so experienced and skilled to back down from a challenge when you get sketched out. We're SO used to seeing YTers remind us to "FULL SEND" that it can make us feel bad IRL when we find ourselves chickening out. However important it is to push your comfort zone, it's a nice reminder that the comfort zone exists for a reason and sometimes it's important to trust your gut when it tells you to slow down, or step off, or whatever. It would be awesome if you could do an episode on the culture of "FULL SEND" and being pressured into doing things that help you grow and develop versus being pressured into things that either get you hurt, or make the sport less fun. I've been discouraged to go back out sometimes because I feel like I don't have enough "send" to keep up with others sometimes!

Because I'm kinda worried about it. Because where I live there is no DH park with lift within reasonable distance.
