      Surprise is that you'll need to cut out the current crop of music for that to happen. No positive messages in the current hip-hop that can educate the way that PE, PRT and the like did back then.

    What I don't understand is that this video only received 15, 000 views, but Nicki Minaj's Anaconda video received over 16 million? What is really important to black people? Is it more important to watch someone with a huge butt or is it more important to learn of our history and listen to people that can really help us? We need to shift our priorities. Ass is not an asset, intelligence and knowledge is.

      Darien Simon A lot of our people don't know about the Advice show yet. What's even more sad a majority of our people know very little about Marcus Garvey and in many cases they have never even heard of him. None of my family ever mentioned Garvey. No aunts no uncles grandparents or otherwise. He is not mentioned in the mainstream media, not in the schools, not even black history commercials. If we want our people to know about Marcus Garvey we need to push harder to educate them. Make Markus Garvey a house hold name. The corporations are going to make sure we hear about Nicky Minaj, Beyonce and other entertainers. Peace

    His comments on individualism 13:30 to 15:20 is pure gold. Gives me food for thought. For me though, I'd still say that within the Black movement for success you need to take individual responsibility for your own progress which in turn adds to the collective progress. If you're not productive individually, you can't add much to the group.

    ASA OR SHALOM FAMILY :
    BY FAR THIS IS ONE OF THE VERY BEST BROADCASTS I’VE EVER BEEN PRIVILEGED TO WATCH . Amin .
    This particular broadcast is as relevant today (2024) as it was 7 years ago or even back in early 1900s , well said and well done my brother king Phillip .
    I extremely believe this particular broadcast should be re-shown every year if not every month , or at least until we’ve all or as many of us as possible finally decided to separate , atone , unite and do for self both collectively as well as individually as one of agenda bullet points . Amin again .

  • @MegaReality2
    @MegaReality2 7 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    Phil...watching your videos have taught me something about myself. I have been watching you for a couple years and up to this point, I have not given you a dime. in contrast I have supported white sites, like TYT. Actually I have given them a lot more than five dollars. On another white site, I was giving them fifty dollars per month and they took it directly from my bank account. I had to take a hard look at myself. I asked myself, why haven't I given a dime to this site that I look at on a weekly basis. The answer is that I have been conditioned to believe that a white person's voice is more credible than your voice is simply because you are black. The solution for me is to withdraw my support from white people's sites and support my own race. The strangest part of it all is that I didn't even realize it until I saw this video. So thanks, Phil.

      They stole everything from our heritage including our religion resources and our self-esteem, they are deathly afraid of us regaining the strength to take them back an that is why they have to keep us divided, they know if we come together were are going to be a force to recon with.
      When the white police and white people in general say they are in fear of their lives when they see a black person and especially a black man, they really mean it.
      White people really have a fear of black in that in their demented mind that we are going to lash out at them and that fear results in them making preemptive strikes against us.

    It goes back to Deuteronomy 28. The curses that were leveed against our people by the Most High. We as a people will not rise against our enemies because we are serving a 400 year sentence. Once the 400 year sententence is seved, and satisfied in the eyes of the Most High then HE will turn our captivity, and make our captors, our captives. The people who enslaved our forefathers, their descendants will be our slaves.
