Merry Christmas! 🎄 Wow! What a horrific story, the hanging of that Quaker woman! Quakers were such gentle, harmless people, certainly not deserving of hanging! It is such a terrible example of the crimes and atrocities committed in the name of Religion. But, like you said, it was done more as a Power Move by the Puritans, who felt threatened, simply because the Quakers Believed and worshipped in a different way. Seems like some things, Religious Intolerance to others, haven’t changed much since those times. On a more positive note, the state house was beautiful. I particularly enjoyed all the stone work and the selection of materials used inside of the building. I wonder just what kind of stone those beautiful, butter-brown columns were made of. They almost look like some kind of Chalcedony, a beautiful mineral that has a very similar look. 40 degrees cold! 🥶 Brrrrr! You must’ve been very bundled up, I would’ve frozen in such chilly conditions! Props to you and your boys braving such cold weather! Hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas Season! 🎄 Thanks for another great Wintertime tour! Stay safe and warm, happy travels! 👋 PS: I put a comment on one of your earlier vlogs about Boston, some restoration work they’re doing on the Old North Church. Check it out, hope you enjoy. 😊
@@AncientWolfHowl61 I’m honestly not sure about the stone but it really is beautiful. I’m assuming there’s a good amount of granite because it’s plentiful in New England. 40o is not bad. I’ve started to blend in with the snow people again this season, lol. Glad you enjoyed it. Merry Christmas!
@@ThatHistoryChick You certainly were bundled up, like the kid brother in A Christmas Story, my all time favorite Holiday movie. Stay warm and cozy! Merry Christmas! 🎄
