The "holding on to item when you were young" is so cute!! ❤ my 2 year old is the same way. He will hold on to his favorite toys and lollipops all day long. He'll just hold on to them for dear life.
Your video’s make my week atm. Things are tough for everyone I’m sure, but you always make me feel at least a little better on a Monday here in Aus. Love you Alice, keep doing what you’re doing💕
My go to solution for a large clear pot is to take a 2-gallon Rubbermaid FG572424CLR and drill holes in the bottom. They are out of stock on Amazon right now, but they can be found for $7-8 each.
Alice they now have a brand of coco coir that is already buffered. It’s kinda like lechuzepon it runs out. I do not remember the name, but it’s on Amazon.
Such beautiful anthuriums! I was so excited for you to receive the plants when I saw it unboxed on Jing's channel. I am not from Canada, but I saw wildfern's clear plant from house plant essentials which you might be interested in.
My lux was in pon for a little over 2 years. I repotted in tree fern soil with a pollinated inflo…seamless. It’s now putting out a new leaf outside. I also felt like mine should be much larger given its age. We’ll see what summer brings.
I live in Germany anti order these pots from smukhi. Their shop is located in the Netherlands. I think they’ll ship to the uk. Otherwise I’d order from soil ninja. I think they got the pots aswell 😊
Just love your videos Alice! I have learned so much from you and even re-watch certain of your videos for "refreshers". I try to support small businesses and order my plastic pots from Green Barn Orchid Supply, out of Florida. Prices are amazing. Their substrates are also super reasonable - their orchiata is really, really nice by the way! Thank you for being so generous with your information!!!
I've ordered square pots from Etsy shops Plant garden studios and Orchid potting bench. Not sure if they ship to Canada or elsewhere. I live in the states.
Sorry if this is a dumb question but here goes: can I reuse treefern soil if it has soil mites? Not just a few, but so so many soil mites. Eew. -- Should I bake it in the oven to kill them off or are they really as beneficial as some say? Thanks, Alice!! Your videos are my favorite
On losing stuff. A few years after I got married, I went to a pond with our children to feed ducks. We were all out of bread (didn't know any better back then to not feed bread, this was like 1997) and there was this one duck away from the group that looked sad and I really wanted to throw it some bread. So I picked up a piece that had fallen down and I threw as hard as I could. My engagement ring came off and landed in the middle of this man-made pond. I went crazy. I was ready to climb in - but all the duck poo scared me off. I went on to call the municipality, asked them if they could send in someone. :D Of course, they said no. I was torturing myself for weeks. To this day it makes me anxious to think about it.
The leca is for drainage and she mentioned it helps her to stretch out her tree fern fiber so she doesn’t need to use as much of it because it’s kind of pricey and a non sustainable product.
Hi Alice I need your anthurium help. I accidentally pushed and ordered a besseae "galaxy x with splendidum any idea how to help this plant. Haven't received yet maybe 3 days. Im a beginner anthurium mom. Anybody😢Lol

I know Temu sells those transparent pots and they’re pretty cheap and ship internationally. Amazon and Etsy also have them.
The PropStudioTO ships the pots to US!

Resting while I watch. Potting table is in the other room and I can’t see the tv from there.
