IMPORTANT! There is a typo in the first phrase. The phrase is not “To thom it may concern,” it is “To whom it may concern”. I’d hate to see anybody slip up on their introduction, so that is the reason I am pointing this out.

I'll start next week a new job in a company where there are people from all over Europe, mostly Italian, and English is a requirement to communicate even among Italians.
I am positive your video has been beneficial to refresh my business English and to learn new useful phrases.

Hey Marina, thanks for another amazing video! I'm studying this video because we are trying to improve the quality of the English lessons on our channel. If it helps, I noticed 2 things in this video that you might want to update. 1:00 Check spelling of 'whom', 2:00 - Check the spelling of 'possible' ✌️

I have an important job interview in a couple of days, it has a lot to do with export and requires to talk to people outside of my country, that means being able to speak English very well. They told me a part of the interview will be in English. I'm not worried about being able to communicate, but I don't really have that much experience with Business English. Most of the phrases were already familiar to me, now I need to learn the ones I haven't heard before. Thank you for this video!

I don’t know if you are continuing making videos on Business English or if you have already made one regarding the requested subjects, but if you can help me (and your other followers) on these topics, I’d appreciate it! Thank you!

Hi Marina, good video, thanks. When you are writing a letter but do not know to whom it should be addressed the practice in the UK is to write the name of the company and address and then Dear Sir/Madam. To Whom it May Concern is used when you make a Declaration or Statement of Truth, say in a proof of address to a tenant, a reference letter even, where the holder will give it to a number of people. The phrase will usually be written as the heading of the document.

I just discovered your channel. It looks great thus far. On another note and FYI, I'd read recently that a resume is tailored for a specific job but a CV is really your (entire) work history. I've done a lot of professional development and at one time put together a course (including a manual) on the whole thingy about application letters putting together a resume (I may have used CV at the time), and through the interview phase.

What a great set of phrases! Thanks very much for that!
When we provide psychology training is to our corporate clients for non-native speakers of English, we see that vocabulary related to emotional intelligence is needed:
    Self-awareness,
    Self control,
    Motivation,
    Empathy
    and social skills.
We usually need to explain them to our clients which are not so fluent. I guess it means that in a way that psychology course is also an English course. Any thoughts? 😁

Very helpful, thanks! Two minor mistakes. ‚ To whom it may concern‘, not ‚to thom it may concern‘ and white collar employees just work in an office, as opposed to blue-collar-employees who work on the shop floor. They do not need to work in a large corporation, though. Any office will do.
