Hooray for the return of the focus of the week. 🎉 It always gives me a lot to think about between videos and I enjoy hearing about your research and reflections as well. 😃….Plus a very tempting happy mail with so many things I probably really shouldn’t think about but probably will too. The idea of the watercolour frames are super intriguing and make me want to whip out my die cutter at 9:30 at night…experimenting must wait however! Hope you’ve had a relaxing weekend 💕😘Louise
I hope to share more watercolour painting. I only managed to find time to do one little watercolour in France. I look forward to hearing what you think of it. It’s of the Eiffel Tower of course 🤣🤣
Oh, how lovely happymail!!! The travelers company pettape…wow that was so lovely. I loved it all❤ so nice. I am going to see here youtube. Thanks for the video Ali.❤❤❤
@@dabblinginjournals and you in mine because i was sometimes thinking, i hope Ali and here familie has fun and you feeling good there. Can't wait to see your video.💖💖
I concur with your thoughts about watercolor painting being challenging! Still, I love how it looks and how diverse it is. I've signed up to take a class next weekend from an artist who does nature themed watercolor painting and I'm very excited. What a lovely, unique, and interesting happy mail from Snippets and Scraps. All of the items were new to me. The miniature frames for watercolor painting are so cute! I hope to see how you use them in the future. The Paris themed items are perfect for your trip! Thank you for sharing!
Oooh Suzanne …do let me know how your class goes! I’d love to see the art you make! I did a little painting of the Eiffel Tower in France. It’s no masterpiece but I still feel proud of it! You’ll see it when I share my travel journal 😃😃😃😃
Thank you Ali, I really enjoyed watching this. I love how you pick a Tarot card and use it in your journaling. The happy Mail from “Snippets and Scraps “ was lovely to watch too. I love her channel too 💕
You are 100% right about beliefs holding us back. I have so much fear to unpack, which began when I was a child. The fear of not being good enough is real! ❤
What a lovely video! The Happy Mail is gorgeous, I don't know how she finds time! My kids are no babies and I'm waaayyyyy behind watching your videos, let alone journal anything. Time for holiday for me.....🥴 Have a nice sunday! In Germany it is a rainday😅
Oh my dear friend! I have received your wonderful happy mail and I look forward to sharing the unboxing soon on my channel. I love it so, so, so much! I am so very grateful to have your friendship….HUGE hugs, Ali xxx
My head goes funny when I think about the universe too!! And just maths and science in general 😂. I have never understood how something as logical as maths and science can be so…illogical all at the same time 😂😂 I mainly use a caffèteir (that’s not spelt right 😂). Love it! One of my favourite things to do is make one and then read while having it in the morning! It feels like a proper treat! Those PET tapes with the travelers notebook are sooo pretty!! Please share if you find out where they are from, I will have to run and get a roll (or 2 😂)
Hi Emily, you were in my thoughts so much whilst I was in Paris! Can you believe I didn’t get to go to a single stationery store 😱😱 there was just too much to do 🤣🤣🤣 I did find a postcard for you! But sadly that was all! Luckily I have some saved up goodies to send with it! I’ll write to you as soon as I can ….sending hugs, Ali xxx
@@dabblinginjournals did you have an amazing time?! I’ve been thinking of you!! I’m excited for the postcard! I’d love to know what your favourite place to visit was, favourite piece of art/ sculpture etc was!! Excited to hear all about it!!
Your reaction to my happy mail just made my day! ❤ I am so, so happy you loved it. I picked up the coffee themed sticker flakes by LCN x papier platz during my last visit to Hong Kong. The moment I saw it I knew I had to purchase it for you! You give me too much credit, some of which I do not deserve. The silk ribbon is not handmade by me, nor are the photo-looking stickers (I know you love orangey elements, so I thought you might enjoy them. They’re from an Indian journaling supplies store). And the round tag with ribbon is also store-bought, not made by me!
Also, regarding where some things are from, in case anyone is interested in purchasing for themselves: - the snow mesh gauze wrapping paper thingy (not sure what it’s actually called) is usually used to wrap flowers bouquets, at least where I’m from. But it has become popular in journaling community too! - the brown wrapping paper is called honeycomb paper and it’s often used in place of bubble wrap to reduce the use of plastic - the bookmark is from my home state. The region is famous for tea (you may have heard of Assam tea). That national park is one of the only places in the world where you can find one-horned rhinoceros. It’s our state animal too. - The traveler’s notebook washi and PET tape are the same designs, just in different product types. It’s by Fstudio. - The last PET tape with threads, eyelets, etc. is from Asteroid B610. - The second last PET tape with paint splotches, etc. is called Sandalwood by Shiwu Studio - The coffee clip is by cubefish. - The washi that said ‘Paris’ is actually called ‘Holiday mode: Paris’. It by Hello Studio.
Whilst it may be true that I gave you credit for items you didn’t make, it doesn’t follow that I gave you too much credit! Your kindness and generosity deserves huge amounts of credit! Plus your talent as a journaler is so inspiring! So more credit lol! I feel so privileged to know you 😘😘😘
Your channel is absolutely LOVELY. I really love it. I just purchased a camel and it's much darker than yours. Are they all different? Is it maybe the lighting? Also wondering if yours is a midori stamped or if it's stamped travelers company? It's just gorgeous. Thank you for sharing!
Sorry for slow reply! I’ve been away on holiday! My camel is travelers company stamped! Yes they do come in slightly different colours! But I’m sure that lighting affects how they look too! Plus they get darker as the they are used! I love how they patina it over rime! Thank you for your kind comments! I’m very pleased to meet you! Ali xxxx
