I like the idea of a memory keeping journal. The way you did yours was unique. Instead of just writing on a specific date, you incorporated photos, stamps, cards, & pieces of paper & such. It really helps you remember certain events. Enjoy the story about the tarot card. Hope you do more. Loved the way you decorated your journal. Till next time, take good care. Pat.🌷
Oh Ali, all of your pages are full of inspiration. What a wonderful trip you and your son had to London. How nice to have great hosts to show you around.
Ooooh, that was a tricky story with all the names! I really enjoyed it though and it reminded me of a documentary I watched years ago about transgender communities in India. I love those snapshots into other peoples lives, hopefully it gives us all a greater understanding and tolerance of different cultures and subcultures as well. I'm looking forward to the next one already! I was excited to hear that you are dabbling in golf...I often play crazy golf, mostly on the actual golf course. There are a lot of similarities...😆 Your memory keeping pages are lovely! The colour schemes and the unfussy layouts...perfect! I feel very chuffed to have my own two page spread 🥰 all the warm and fuzzy feelings! The music was a nice find too, I 'll have to add it to my playlist. Have a wonderful weekend Ali and hopefully spring is on its way? Big hugs! 🤗 Louise x
Thank you for taking the time to comment. I’m glad you enjoyed the reading. I love learning about diversity…but am often struck by the how the underlying messages of stories from all around the globe seem, to me at least, to be relevant to us all! Sending you my very best wishes, Ali xxx
Wonderful video (as always!) I love your reflections on the time you spend with your family, such precious moments 😊 The story relating to the card was fascinating, there are many ways we can all make sacrifices for others, maybe not as huge as giving up our life to win the battle but perhaps just making time for others when we could quite easily spend time doing things for ourselves. Our small sacrifices often mean a whole lot more to others. Looking forward to hearing more of the stories ❤
What a lovely, lovely comment Dawn! You are so right! Small sacrifices are so important. Perhaps these epic tales are simply supposed to motivate and also endorse those small sacrifices that so many people make every day! In a world where the media bombards us with bad news everyday,,,it’s so easy to lose sight of the fact that millions of people are kind to others every minute of every day! Thank you so much for reminding me of that…it makes me happy! You are a treasure! 😘😘😘😘
Thank you my dear! I just want to let you know that Louise has posted a video in which she shares the gift I sent of a charm that YOU made! I’m going to try and share a link I hope it works lol! th-cam.com/video/vcJzjv0zYYQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=BzuwxKGZUQRp9Ik6
Wow! I hadn’t thought of that! Thank you for your interesting response. Whenever I think of death, I’m more scared of the process of dying than the thought of being dead! However, faith in an afterlife is so helpful for so many people! Thank you so much for taking the time to comment. My very best wishes to you, Ali xxxx
I love this video! The story was a nice touch and I would love to hear other stories as well. And you piano music was so beautiful!! Thanks again for making these videos!!
Thank you so much! I’m really glad that you enjoyed my video. It makes me so happy to hear that … so thank you for taking the time to comment. My very best wishes, Ali xxx
So happy you enjoyed it! I’m a bit worried I described it as a fairy tale as I think it’s better described as a ‘divine story’ and I’m not even sure if ‘story’ is an appropriate word 😬😬😬😬 Fingers crossed I haven’t offended anybody which was NOT my intention. I did further research, because I was interested, and discovered that this story is still a part of some religious celebrations in some parts of the world. I’m probably worrying needlessly as surely it’s good for us all, living in multicultural societies, to gain any understanding we can of the diversity of beliefs held by people in our world both past and present? Do you agree? Xxx
@@dabblinginjournals I absolutely agree!! I think one of the most important and impactful things we can do as humans is learn from other cultures and history so we can learn and apply it to our lives now to build a better future! You know much I love history, the world would be a better place if we all learnt more about it! I don’t think anyone will be offended. I think it’s clear for the video/ all your videos that you don’t know everything but you are open to learning. I’m sure they will leave a comment with the correct term and let you know! (If they do it rudely, ignore the tone and stick with the wording, you can only do your best). Maybe mythology is a better term? I know the Greeks and Romans used mythology for the Pagan practice. Sort of like Christians and the stories (stories probably isn’t the right word either) in the bible. Would all make a very interesting topic in your commonplace journal!
Dear Ali, that was a lovely video especially of your grandchildren. So adorable. I loved the pink and red page so much!! So colorful🎉 hope your doing fine. Oh and the piano music, was that your son? I thought i could here that. ❤❤. Sweet regards from Spain. 🥰

Loved the story!! I also think also the story also exspress the ideas of not being scared of death. I found that pretty expression
