I actually really enjoy listening to Trid. He’s so sharp and intelligent and communicates extremely well to where it’s relatable.
    This podcast was insanely helpful.

The biggest cause of fights in relationships is unmet expectations. The solution is communication and compromise.

Wow - the entire family/relationship dynamic is playing out before our eyes and I'm here for it all. This is SO important for all of us. Don't change.❤
Also, we need a blooper reel! Imagine all the things that get omitted! 😂

Sheena, the "switch flick" strategy and not comparing ourselves to our partners as to who does what, is definitely something i think we learn as we get older. I used to get so frustrated by the fact that there were certain tasks i always ended up doing, until i actually sat back and realised there were certain tasks HE was always doing too. I dont want to mow the lawn or take the garbage out. He doesnt want to clean the bathroom or wash the bed sheets. Having accepted that, life is much less frustrating.

I really enjoyed this episode. I am in a new relationship and I had been really worried about what that first argument is going to be and how were we gonna handle it. This episode helped me a lot, gave me some things to think about when that argument happens. Thank you so much for sharing your life with us, you have helped me greatly.

I love this series so much. It has helped put a lot in perspective for me in my own relationship. Tone is also something that can cause the argument to go even further and in the wrong direction, especially for me. My tone makes my better half withdraw and i have to back pedal and try to save discussion progress. Can you do a follow up episode about HOW to argue, please ma'am?

Also Sheena: "What was I right about?"

That was part of my thinking, but also the amounts of various vitamins are FAR too high. I did look over the percentages. I understand water-soluble vitamins can be expelled from the body in excess amounts. But, I think the smarter play is to instead take less of that and add/increase amounts for other things that would be healthy for you. I have a great multi-vitamin I take and I did the same research. It's much cheaper and it is also effective.
When it comes to what you ingest, if you don't need the excess ingredients, less is more. Same with OTC medications. If you don't have a headache, fever, or temperature related issues, why would you take medicine that had an anti-pyretic in it? Bundles are not always necessary and can further complications or create new ones.

23:30… not gonna lie… it’s exactly how I grew up. My mom gave me a weekly allowance of $20 for school lunch and snacks after school from Kindergarten on. I was alone most times and got around on my bike. It was such an amazing childhood. I couldn’t say the same for my children today… I feel bad. They’ll never experience that freedom we had. 😊

Such an interesting blend in this conversation. Thanks for sharing♥♥♥ Love the sunrise and birds chirping alarm clock idea. And yes, prepaving your day in moments of stillness without being attacked by electronic messages and videos is a healthier way to live. Too many live in social media and it shows in their comments or even DMs to others. Set the electronics aside......go live life♥

Unsolicited whathaveyou: AG1 message from sponsor just blended into the episode like it's a natural part of your conversation about fights felt a little weird (vomit, plastic, paper?) I'm 1 minute and 48 seconds in and you want your wife to look in the direction that she is being authentic again while you hide behind a cartoon character version of yourself
Just stating the obvious and the hypocrisy

I really believe the last 30 to 60 minutes of the day follows you into sleep. I was told to ask a life changing question or problem to solve for the sub conscious to work on. The first moments to wake up is the time the sub conscious can be heard/remembered to get the needed answers.

So when my daughters turned 15 one them become quite selfish, she’s 18 now it’s gotten worse!!! 😢 As a mom how do I correct that calmly? Currently I’m trying to hold it in as long as I can then one day I’ll snap, sit myself down & try to figure out how I can calmly approach this (bc she’s gotten so touchy that she’ll snap & we end up not talking for weeks) then approach her. She then will just sit there & not say anything. UGH!!!! 😩 What can I do? 🤷🏻‍♀️❤❤❤

I love how during the "being on your phone" convo TRID checked his phone lol and arguing over money was a BIG deal in my marriage and ultimately divorce, what sucked is I stayed with him through the lean years (worked as a nurse to put him through school) and the minute he became an architect, someone else enjoyed the spoils. just sayin (low key though he's her problem now)...not everyone can wait until their spouse gets a "number one podcast in the World". If that hadn't happened, would you and TRID still be together? If he were working as an attorney and you DIDNT find SM (because singers are a dime a dozen and making it big is difficult hence why shows like AGT and Idol were so big) but what would you have done instead of Influencer (and btw I feel bad for influencers as they get used to big money coming in and someday that's going to be gone because ppl move on fast these days-the easy answer would be keep content fresh, hmmm well good luck) no really, I do wish you good luck, I enjoy listening to you guys.

2 things I'll just make a comment about:
    1) You said one of the child's is selfish and it's okay for them to be at this age, I get what you're saying and where you might be coming from but I respectfully disagree, if they don't get the reprimands or correction now it's only going to get worse as they get older and then it just becomes their personality. So I would highly suggest getting rid of or minimizing that as much as you can in them now while it's still something they're probably trying out.
    2) You mentioned you still hadn't gotten the new teenager a phone yet, idk how I feel about smartphones for kids mostly because aged 13/14 when they're in yr 8 (I'm in England) is when they start getting curious about "getting jiggy with it" and start watching all that crap (Saying this based on my own experiences + with people I know both friends and family), their little brains are still developing with no need for that highly addictive crap that's readily available....... but I think you said he already has an IPad so idk, I would just be cautious and definitely have "the talk".
