Fr. David, thank you for the Eucharistic celebration, your inspiring homily, also mentioning the great Saint of today, St. John of the Cross. Yes, the Eucharist is our life with Jesus that makes us refuse anything outside of Him. When we have Jesus, we lack nothing but abundance of grace and wisdom. The Saints are our models on relying the grace of God, when we stand for the truth that must be zealously proclaimed in the world without fear like St. Paul. Like the example of the Saints, we must strive to become holy to reach the kingdom of heaven and be with God forever.

Amen Fr. David. I got to learn more about the Holy Spirit and His great love for us and living role in our lives by participating in the 40 day consecration to the Immaculate Conception. You make great points about fear of speaking up, (God gave me a big mouth so I don’t have that problem. Praise God. )especially since we are in the holiday season. I learned of a very sad story of a friend who was not able to spend Thanksgiving with her family and actually asked her to leave her sister’s house the week before the election. Praying for my dear friend that she has a reconciliation with her family.

As St. Faustina says from her diary: to have Wisdom means to Love God with all your Heart, and with all of your Soul, Mind and Strength and your neighbor as yourself. Choosing the Holy Spirit of Truth to work in us and live in us every day is choosing good over evil--God over the evil one-Satan, and choosing to Love God and all of your neighbors first over love of self, which is Pride. We cannot enter into Heaven if we hang on to our pride, so let the Holy Spirit of Truth enter into us each day and lead us always to the Truth--for the Truth will set us FREE to enter into the Paradise of Heaven forever to Love God and be loved by Him forever.
