I would recommend buying a Unicomp Model M variant over this if you dig the retro aesthetic.

Does it have silicone and foam dampener layers inside, like the Ducky One 3 series? Ducky isn't clear about this, which makes me uneasy about this model...
How's the pinging and the noise, and how does it compare to the Ducky One 3 ?

@@gorofujita5767 This is my first Ducky keyboard, so I cannot draw this comparison for you. In my opinion, if silicone and foam dampeners are not mentioned in the listing provided by Ducky Keyboards, then it is probably not featured. I would assume they would want to advertise such features to get more sales.
The keyboard feels like a standard mechanical keyboard. It had a bit more flex than my previous iKBC $80 keyboard which felt more solid and built.

How’s it type? Good for work?

It's what you expect from any board that uses Cherry MX switches. I have the Cherry MX Blue version which is very pleasing to type on. I would say it is very good for work, as long as you don't care about having a potentially loud keyboard.
If you like retro keyboards, I would recommend a new Model M from Unicomp. Those keyboards are extraordinary and built to last.

I didn’t realize the colors meant something lol but I appreciate it! I’ll check that one out. I like to type with a little force, nothing too light.

@@sys-administrator You should try buckling spring switches if you like retro, it’ll blow your mind!
