I think dj school 2 was in, development, going to replace it, but it was scrapped and it was still used in remix 7 while built to scale 2 was moved to remix 9

If you plan to continue on with ranked lists like this, (which I hope you do), here’s some advice that I think could help: -Great job on not speeding up to much when you speak. You’ve got a good amount of emotion in your voice, but I would recommend doing another take if you stutter a bit. -I’m not gonna lie and say that I know anything about editing, but I think it’d be more enjoyable if you had the sound effects from the game play whenever you aren’t talking. -Don’t be afraid to make more out of the box jokes. Mess around with the editing or rely more on making jokes in your scripts. Again, I’m relatively inexperienced when it comes to video making, but I think that it’s pretty clear you’ve got a lot of potential. Keep it up!

@@marshmallowdub megamix added a story to rhythm heaven, and the writing couldn't be better. The new minigames are a lot of fun, and the prequels just serve to add more content to the game. Rhythm heaven megamix is one of the only rhythm heaven games that can be picked up for a standard price, and has the most minigames in the series, all for $30. I think megamix is one of the best in the series, as it gives the player a lot more to do. Why don't you like it?
@@bralenmurphy1991 I think it's because it's very distant from what the other games were, like the DS one, they were more... arcade-y? they just felt better for me overall and I enjoyed them a lot more, about the story I just think the dialogues were very annoying, and the ending of the story just felt disappointing once I got there, at least there are some cool additions like Kitties, Lumbearjack, First/Second Contact etc. Plus the remixes were super forgettable for me, except the last one
I like Remix 5. Here We Go prepares you to rhythm toggle and hold touch. However it couldve been _a lot faster._ Slap a higher bpm on it, and its a lot better.

Your list is a pretty good list. I don’t see how anyone could justify threatening you over merely an opinion video on remixes in rhythm heaven. I think it’s more interesting to see how someone else differs in terms of opinions because they might see something that we don’t in the nuances of these remixes. If it’s alright, I’d like to post my personal list in the comments about my feelings towards each remix. 10. Remix 1: My least favorite even more than remix 5. To be honest, I put it here because it’s the most disappointing song to listen to because the main melody is the shortest as it only repeats itself at varying tempos, and it makes it pretty boring to play. 9. Remix 5: Basically what you said in the video. Remix 5 is the most generic remix in this game regarding the theme, song, and gameplay. I only put it above Remix 1 even if I like the song in Remix 1 more, we get more of the melody here, so it’s just slightly above it. 8. Remix 2: This is an okay remix. I’m usually actually not the biggest fan of tropical music or theming as I just prefer other stuff to a greater extent. That doesn’t implicate I hate tropical music or theming because I do like this remix a bit for it’s relaxing and quaint vibe. It fairly short compared to other remixes though. 7. Remix 4: I don’t really have much to say about this remix other than I really like it. There’s a concise theme to it, the music is exuberant and fun, and it has my personal favorite set of mini games in the remix. I just like the other remixes more I guess. 6. Remix 7: I honestly only like it for the music and the realization that it’s the full extended song from the melody in Big Rock Finish. I don’t mind the repetition even if I don’t actually love it either. It’s probably my third favorite remix in terms of its music, but as a remix overall, yeah it’s not that much fun to play. 5: Remix 6: This was a great remix. The games used were excellent even if Rockers was pretty subdued compared to the other games. It had my favorite versions of Lockstep and Space Soccer in it because of their aesthetic and gameplay. Being a final remix, I’d say, yeah, it does a wonderful job at culminating all the games together that we learned and played in a final medley. Purple is one of my favorite colors and the whole remix is imbued with purple. I always thought the theme to this remix is something like the traditional Japanese countryside with the attire of The Dazzles and Crop Stomp farmer. The music being swing only supplements how much I love this remix and it’s a charm to play. My second favorite remix in terms of music and just overall. Now my favorite is of course... 1. Remix 8: Honestly the same things that you already mentioned about how exquisite this remix is. My favorite song for a remix and in the whole game as well. I never thought initially about the structure of the remix in the different sections and progression of mini games, but now that you brought it up, it really does feel that way, and makes me love the remix even more. It’s great for its fast pace, transitions, music, and set of mini games too. I used to not like Rhythm Rally 2 on its own, but this remix made me like it a bit more. Also makes me wish Dog Ninja had a sequel. But that’s my list. I pretty much accord with you on the bottom three remixes and what the best remix is. Remix 2 is one of my favorites in RHDS. Something about it just looks right and sounds right, too. Also, the Moai Doo Wap segments in that remix are PISS easy, what???

My ranking because yes! (Worst to best) 10. Remix 5: It's just boring, and forgettable, but I like the song! 9. Remix 10: Eh, I'm not big on final remixes, but I like it alot and it was my first perfect! 8. Remix 1: Boring 7. Remix 9: Deffenently a weird piece, but the part with shoot 'em up and karate man are really nice, the segment finisher with built to scale is satisfying to listen to. 6. Remix 4: This remix....the song is perfect, the visuals are cute and very appealing to look at, dj yellow and the blue one have *epic shades on* (shoot me) Love Lab, and even the drummer duel parts are fun for me! And the end part in love lab where the day changes go evening...just kicks me in my non-existent nuts with nostalgia 1. Remix 3!! First off! The main colors are mint green and lavender which are the best colors- The visuals are..."mysterious?" Especially crop stomp. And the best part...the dazzles are here and they're wearing kimonos. This remix is a slow and steady masterpiece

i didn't really watch this at all (it's ~late~) so i just skimmed through and wanted to share my own opinions on the order: -remix 5: personally i really like remix 5, it's fun and i think the dog ninja "h e r e w e g o"'s are pretty funny. it was also my second superb in ds- probably number 3 for me? -remix 1: yeah remix 1's not that great. it's also annoying because of fillbots. apparently they messed up the fillbots cues while programming it? but i mean yeah it sucks. -remix 2: yep. remix 2 sucks too. but it has my favorite ds game (rhythm rally),,, but also my least favorite ds games (shoot-'em-up and moai doo-wop)- -remix 7: remix 7's one of my favorites tbh- i love the big rock finish part on the end, and i mean it has dj school so that's a very big plus- plus i like the parts in remixes where it just goes back and forth in a pattern, it's fun- though i mean i do wish there were more parts with the other,,, non-frog hop and fan club games,,, did they forget that other games exist? -remix 4: unpopular opinion: i don't like,,, remix 4,,, imo the only good game is dj school. ,,, i mean munchy monk's on thin ice- i just really hate the love lab and drummer duel parts. -remix 9: i like remix 9,,, but it's h a r d . i like the splashdown parts,,, the built to scale part's neat,,, but also on your point of "it's one of the better ones in the game": personally i like all of ds' remixes, they're all pretty good- -remix 6: i love remix 6. -remix 3: i hate remix 3. -remix 10 and remix 8: yeah totally agree with this. before i think remix 6 was my favorite but i love remix 8 now, it's the best. and remix 8 has rhythm rally sooooo where can you go wrong?
i would probably put remix 2 and remix 7 lower than remix 5 and remix 1 since those ones are more memorable. remix 5 is cool in the way it transitions between three different styles of music. remix 1 repeats the same parts several times, but has enough variation and sounds good from the get-go that it doesnt become a nuisance to listen over and over again. remix 2 is boring in the style and music, and remix 7 is dragged out for too long. otherwise similar list, might switch a few around but 100% agree that remix 8 is the best
Why do people put Remix 10 on such a high pedestal? Remix 10 is definitely a great finale, but it’s not a great remix. The transitions are broken, (Shoot-em-up to Lockstep to Fan Club 2 are the worst two transitions in the franchise) Love Lizards is broken, and the other parts just aren’t very exciting. The only reason its my 3rd favorite in rhythm heaven is because the other remixes are even worse. Also, for your point about remix 8 and 9 switching, I get the feeling that’s intentional. In Fever, Remix 9 is the easiest non-mix-1 remix of the set, while Remix 8 is brutal. My guess is they’re trying to give an easy remix at the end just before Remix 10.
My List: 10. Remix 3. Hate me all you want, but I just don’t like it as much as the normal person. To put it simply, it’s too “watch the male lizard practice his new rhythms.” It doesn’t exactly it’s bad though, I like it a little. It was very hard to decide, okay? 9. Here’s another one people tend to like that I think is only fine, remix 4. Why? It’s way too hard! There have been so many times where I got TWO misses and failed to even pass. DJ school is awesome though, so that’s what prevented it from sinking to the bottom. Munchy monk is also pretty good, but I don’t like the other two because they are simply too hard. 8. Here’s one practically everyone agrees with. Remix 5 is fine, but it is just way too easy for the halfway point. Also, I only really have a liking to splashdown, the other three are just fine. That does mean it will fall pretty low, like everyone expected. Next! 7. I promise this one isn’t trying to insult people. Remix 6. It is also simply too hard. Sometimes to get the timing perfect on the switches from space soccer to lockstep, you have to be PURPOSELY offbeat! What!? Isn’t that unfair? 1. Remix 8: Honestly the same things that you already mentioned about how exquisite this remix is. My favorite song for a remix and in the whole game as well. I never thought initially about the structure of the remix in the different sections and progression of mini games, but now that you brought it up, it really does feel that way, and makes me love the remix even more. It’s great for its fast pace, transitions, music, and set of mini games too. I used to not like Rhythm Rally 2 on its own, but this remix made me like it a bit more. Also makes me wish Dog Ninja had a sequel.
But that’s my list. I pretty much accord with you on the bottom three remixes and what the best remix is. This was a long comment, but I just wanted to disclose my opinions about the remixes. Great video on your part though man!

Remix 2 is one of my favorites in RHDS. Something about it just looks right and sounds right, too.
Also, the Moai Doo Wap segments in that remix are PISS easy, what???

It might be because I haven't played certain remixes that much, but I found 1 and 3-6 somewhat forgettable. I couldn't even remember remix 5 and I can somewhat remember the rest, but not as much and 8, 9 and 10

First off! The main colors are mint green and lavender which are the best colors-
The visuals are..."mysterious?" Especially crop stomp. And the best part...the dazzles are here and they're wearing kimonos. This remix is a slow and steady masterpiece

i didn't really watch this at all (it's ~late~) so i just skimmed through and wanted to share my own opinions on the order:
-remix 5: personally i really like remix 5, it's fun and i think the dog ninja "h e r e w e g o"'s are pretty funny. it was also my second superb in ds- probably number 3 for me?
-remix 1: yeah remix 1's not that great. it's also annoying because of fillbots. apparently they messed up the fillbots cues while programming it? but i mean yeah it sucks.
-remix 2: yep. remix 2 sucks too. but it has my favorite ds game (rhythm rally),,, but also my least favorite ds games (shoot-'em-up and moai doo-wop)-
-remix 7: remix 7's one of my favorites tbh- i love the big rock finish part on the end, and i mean it has dj school so that's a very big plus- plus i like the parts in remixes where it just goes back and forth in a pattern, it's fun- though i mean i do wish there were more parts with the other,,, non-frog hop and fan club games,,, did they forget that other games exist?
-remix 4: unpopular opinion: i don't like,,, remix 4,,, imo the only good game is dj school. ,,, i mean munchy monk's on thin ice- i just really hate the love lab and drummer duel parts.

i would probably put remix 2 and remix 7 lower than remix 5 and remix 1 since those ones are more memorable. remix 5 is cool in the way it transitions between three different styles of music. remix 1 repeats the same parts several times, but has enough variation and sounds good from the get-go that it doesnt become a nuisance to listen over and over again. remix 2 is boring in the style and music, and remix 7 is dragged out for too long. otherwise similar list, might switch a few around but 100% agree that remix 8 is the best
for me remix 3 is only saved from dead last because of love lizards

Why do people put Remix 10 on such a high pedestal? Remix 10 is definitely a great finale, but it’s not a great remix. The transitions are broken, (Shoot-em-up to Lockstep to Fan Club 2 are the worst two transitions in the franchise) Love Lizards is broken, and the other parts just aren’t very exciting. The only reason its my 3rd favorite in rhythm heaven is because the other remixes are even worse.
Also, for your point about remix 8 and 9 switching, I get the feeling that’s intentional. In Fever, Remix 9 is the easiest non-mix-1 remix of the set, while Remix 8 is brutal. My guess is they’re trying to give an easy remix at the end just before Remix 10.

Remix 3. Hate me all you want, but I just don’t like it as much as the normal person. To put it simply, it’s too “watch the male lizard practice his new rhythms.” It doesn’t exactly it’s bad though, I like it a little. It was very hard to decide, okay?

Here’s another one people tend to like that I think is only fine, remix 4. Why? It’s way too hard! There have been so many times where I got TWO misses and failed to even pass. DJ school is awesome though, so that’s what prevented it from sinking to the bottom. Munchy monk is also pretty good, but I don’t like the other two because they are simply too hard.

Here’s one practically everyone agrees with. Remix 5 is fine, but it is just way too easy for the halfway point. Also, I only really have a liking to splashdown, the other three are just fine. That does mean it will fall pretty low, like everyone expected. Next!
