  • @Spikezx7
    @Spikezx7 9 ปีที่แล้ว +214

    Tell me, why did Knicks trade Novak for Bargniani?! I know Novak doesn't rebound or defend, but he's a top 3pt shooter. Bargs doesn't defend, rebound, score in the low post and he's average to below average when shooting 3s. What was the logic behind that trade?

    • @TheUnfriendlyGhost1
      @TheUnfriendlyGhost1 9 ปีที่แล้ว +36

      Don't know... not to mention he's been injured for like 6 fucking months now...

    • @pex3
      @pex3 9 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      the raptors also traded novak, he missed multiple clutch three's and then was a liability everywhere else

    • @Mrxio1
      @Mrxio1 9 ปีที่แล้ว +34

      They traded novak, camby, and a 2nd rounder for bargnani because: The year before the Knicks were good, but needed to improve. So they gave up a role player in Novak, a guy who can only shoot 3's. Camby who was practically useless the entire year on the court, and a 2nd rounder which isn't all that much. They were gaining a guy who could POTENTIALLY become the 2nd scorers Carmelo and the Knicks desperately need. Pros and cons were
      Pro: Bargnani had high upside to be a 2nd scoring threat
      Cons: we know all of them about him, lack of D, rebounding, and injury prone
      Pro: We weren't giving up that much, novak being the best part of the trade, stats wise we didn't give up much...but...
      Con: we see now, just like jason kidd, novak meant more to the Knicks than his 7 points a game.

    • @endlessparadise7258
      @endlessparadise7258 9 ปีที่แล้ว +11

    I'm from Finland, Europe and I'm a huge Celtics fan, I went to this game and I was so pissed at these two of how well they shot the 3. But when I think about it later on it was a pretty unbelievable experience to see this kind of a shooting even though my Celtics lost the game.. :D
