Well... i was surprised to this boy is actually making them but look he is wide open 0% defense but being at Rondo's height disadvantage a long distance 3 is not bad I've been watching him for a long time now, i just wish he could improve on a couple of aspects with his game for starters make them shots in a real game i mean no wonder he leads the league in assists this man does not shoot and on the rare occasions he does he mostly misses it. Now i know it can be hard from where he stands in height in the NBA but open shots like these are the ones he needs to be practicing on. Being as he obviously can't get big in the paint and rebound he just needs to get his shot mechanics working a bit more to be a great PG that i know he he as the potential to be, right now he's still decently young but being for as long as i watched him through the years it seems as if he needs more time on that swoosh! jump shot. He has plenty of potential and his motivation right now should be alright i'm leading the league and assists that's great but let's get my all around game working. Now with the team he is on (no offense) for the Kings it might take a couple of good regrouping years to get them going like the team they can and need to be in the NBA so being as Rondo doesn't get traded any time soon that should give him time to work on that jumper that he has shown to have in this vid!!!

In game stats for Rondo are actually pretty good. I see people get messed up. Rondo is a bad 3pt shooter but his FG% is actually .475 over his career. Plus, to those that would say you can't play PG without being able to shoot, I would remind you that Tony Parker is not and has never been a good 3pt shooter.

Night Waddle I thinks its more of a confidence thing. Its something Ray Allen said "Anyone can learn to shoot mid range but to shoot threes you have to not only think but know your going to hit it." That was Lebron's issue for years I think. I don't believe one off season he was just like, well I'm going to start shooting threes now. No. I think he finally got to the point where he knew he could hit it so he was able to hit it. Plus, think, Jason Kidd is noted as being very simular to Rondo in alot of ways and he was considered a great 3pt shooter by the end of his career. So I think Rondo just needs time to get comfortable scoring and shooting then he will be fine.

rondo's shooting actually improved a lot, if you take a look at last season's celtics games you'll find that quite a lot of his points come from mid/3 pt range. plus his free throws aren't airballing anymore...or at least not that much anymore :)

I think he meant that rondo is a point guard which focuses on passing and playmaking, not shooting. That's the reason why Rondo isn't the best shooter in the game, even though he is one of the best if not the very best passer and playmaker now.
Rondo has been labeled a bad shooter because he was, when he first came into the nba. The last 2 seasons he has greatly improved his shooting and should no longer be labeled a poor shooter, but many people will always see him as that... And yes, Rondo and Dwill are very debatable in who is a better pg. They just have different styles of play.

probably 85% of NBA players can make 9 out of every 10 3 pointers if they're just sitting there practicing, without anyone guarding them. if you go to NBA games, and watch them warm up, they hardly ever miss standing jump shots. probably even guys like blake griffin and bynum will hit half their 3's practicing.
