Dreadful. It's fine to enjoy Faramarz Aslani's music, but attempting a cover of such a difficult song, especially as a non-native Persian speaker is an exercise in arrogance. I had to downvote this, not only because it is inferior to the original in every aspect, but I dislike the idea that non-fluent people should sing in a foreign language that they have not mastered. It's musically offensive. It's infuriating that you yourselves have not realized this and completely misunderstood your own audience.
Phonology and pronunciation matter as do the meaning of the lyrics. When the singer can't pronounce "qāf" in the alphabet, what business does she have singing this? I don't expect Radio Riyadh to understand this, but then again they are tone-deaf to what Iranians actually want, but ordinary Iranian listeners (who else would this song cater to?) cannot be tricked into liking this.
