Congratulations on the moose, them Argos are great. My first one 48 in 22 points took me two days to get out on my back, been on Argos after that hump from hell.
I'm going this Sept. Actually late Sept. into Oct. I was just wondering what part of Sept you were there and what was the weather/temp like so i have an idea how to dress and pack. thanks, great video!!
similar, we were there late September. Temps then are all dependent on sunshine vs cloud cover. It was in the 70s some days and 20's and snowing other days. I'd plan for ambient daily temps around 50, and be prepared to layer up or down from there, and have quality shell layers and packable insulation.
North of the Canadian Arctic? Not even remotely. American perspective of Canada is hilarious. And no Labrador is not part of the Arctic either. Sort of like saying Washington state is close to Alaska. Good hunt though! Great moose!! Welcome to Canada.
Well done guys from a Newfoundlander. Don’t mind the negative comments, there is always someone out to knock ya down, jealous I suppose. Cheers

Great video thanks for sharing and also jaeger is so cool loved that recovery video too
thanks. I hope to get Jaeger up to Newfoundland one day for another moose and/or caribou hunt, then let him go wild flushing ptarmigan. @jaegertracks
What was the name of the outfitter. Looks like a great trip
What caliber(s) were you using?
I was shooting a 45-70 and Dad was shooting a 300 Win Mag.
You have a link to outfitter
best to look up Dean on Facebook: facebook.com/dean.macdonald.98
What were the temps for this trip?
they varied quite a bit, from snowy days to sunny days. I'd say lows in 30/40s and highs in 60-70F if the sun was out, but mostly in the 50's.
