Well this is actually a city but there are parts of this city that are more suburban. Besides this city right to the west of Newark. But if you go north past Park av towards the border of either Bloomfield/Glen Rige/ Montclair its more suburban!

Yes the Bronx is too expensive and when I had to work there I saw lil kids sitting on the ground with no parents which was ghetto and shocking to me. I moved here from NY 5 years ago and I'm not EVER coming back to New York not even to visit.
I have been living in East Orange for 20 years and it is a nice place with beautiful homes.

As you can see there are no powerlines. They are underground. I was born and raised here. I am currently 59yrs old and still live here.
