Love this sort of thing. Reminds we of the swing set I made years back. My thinking was “this should probably be reasonably secured in the ground, my children are savages.” 46 inches and 1200lbs of concrete later I thought “man, that was a lot of work” lol.
9:04 bro all you had to do was hold the head of a small sledge hammer behind the block on the opposite side as you hit the end grain on the other side with a coaw hammer. Split the wood around the bolts. I do it all the time to remove wood framing without having to cut wires out or damaging them. Pipes too.
Not sure of the total cost as I already had some material and I got some stuff not new but the concrete was about $130 I want to say all in total and the light on the top is 200 I already had conduit and wire and I found the bolts and ready rod for the rebar and the pole was like $200
There is Electrical and communication and water services in the ground underneath and it ended up being a heavier slab to build it as a box than just a column

Thanks for this. I’m gonna install a railroad crossing at my house, and this will help with putting in concrete.
Huh nice. I never saw someone as young as you do this sort of construction
Really nice idea! Always night to have extra light in your yard! - Can't wait for another episode of durability testing :j

I still wanted it in place then.
I love this can never have too much light!
Absolutely
Your dog is so cute
so is he
Cute dog. Great job
Hmmm how much did this cost? Would be nice to have light in my back yard

Good job nice work
Thank you
I see this is 2 years old, do your neighbors still like you?
Yes they don't mind me
Nice work young fella. Good on you. If you need any help or tipz, let me know. I'm interested in seeing how part 2 goes.
No snow? WHAT! And ur in Canada I’m jealous
Had a couple dumps of snow this year they have melted I’m sure it’ll be back though
Where did you buy the pole? I'm needing one. Many are very expensive, like $500 plus for the pole.
Facebook marketplace for around 100 bucks can’t remember for sure
Nice. I am trying to do the same in my house. Where did you pick up that pole from?
Got it on Facebook marketplace it was an extra from a new project
@@nics-systems-electric did it came with any info? Been looking around but nothing like this.
@@k5_kiaupgrades622 no
Why didn’t you pour a pier 5 ft in the ground? I know you mentioned it.

Next time put a little water at the bottom of that concrete it will be a lot easier on u in that small bucket
Where did you order pole from?
I just got it on Facebook marketplace locally
We're can I buy this light
How the hell did you manage to get a light pole like that, Nic?
Facebook marketplace
I was going to ask the exact same thing lol
This is so cool!
Thanks
You should try to put a strobe on it lol
Don't worry when that LED thing fails it will become a strobe as most seem do that when the driver (power supply) fails.

Hi I hope you’re having a great day
I think instead of your channel name being "PICKLE 700 - SYSTEMS & ELECTRIC" It should be "PICKLE 700 - SYSTEMS, ELECTRICAL & DOGS".
