These instruments contribute a lot to the melancholy of the song.
I forgot to write something important. The melody, written by Naotaro Moriyama, is composed with a kind of pentatonic scale called the "Ryukyu scale" in mind. "Ryukyu" is the ancient name for "Okinawa". Okinawa is an island in the south, and it has a very strong image of summer, so this end of summer makes us feel even more special.
