LOVE my Danner Mountain Light II's. They were a female dog to break in, but now they're like sneakers. I feel like a billy goat climbing with them. Good old fashioned traditional mountaineering design that still work. Well worth the coin.
They are great boots!!! It’s like when people say “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” and that holds true to these boots. Have you ever had yours re-crafted???
Neat. I use mine mostly everyday in the fall and winter. Through the summer mostly just if I’m on a big hike. (I find they are too warm for everyday in the summer.) My tread in the center at the front of the boot has wore down other than that all around the sides is still really good!
I do still have these boots however I haven’t been wearing them as much as I once did. They are still in great condition as I took care of them when I wore them often.
Just scored a pair from a guy who bought them to hike in but never got around to using. They’ve been sitting in his closet for years brand new unused. Leather is a bit dry but I’ll recondition them to age nicely. Feel blessed to get them for 150 bux!
@@SurvivalShowcase oh awesome bro! You've inspired me to look into getting another pair of Danners, and to take good care of them. I look forward to seeing more of your boot videos.
Hey man, I gotta ask how these are holding up? I’m really considering getting a pair, since they look better than the standard Acadia my agency issues. Think these could hold up to that task?
So far so good I have had no issues with them coming apart, tread pattern is unique, and speed lace system is fast for situations where you need to get them on and get moving.

@@SurvivalShowcase Not yet. 3 years later and they are my only woods boots and I use them for hunting too in several states.

Hey! Amazing video. Just wondering if you still have these and if so would you mind doing an update video on how they are holding up?

That’s awesome! Try out the Danner boot dressing to bring the leather back.
You should do a short danner mountain light update every year until their tosted
That was my original plan. Kids and life happen, I might have to try one again soon.
Love these videos. Keep them coming
Thanks for the encouragement, I do have some more boot videos to do!!!
