  • This video showcases Interstate 635 westbound from US-75, and then TX-121 followed by International Parkway into DFW terminal C. This video highlights the gigantic LBJ Express project's progress and briefly runs part of the new DFW connector too.

I gotta give it up to Texas. They try their damnest to keep up with the runaway growth. Here in Louisiana, were lucky if we get a road repaved once every 15 years.

Yeah, I'll be brutally honest... Louisiana's roads are trash. However, the I-10 and I-55 swamp bridges are no joke in terms of raw engineering, not to mention the Pontchartrain Causeway. As for new freeways, Shreveport's stacks are pretty sweet and I-10 in Metairie is coming along nicely too.

Those Galleria towers at 1:15 will have some company soon. According to plans the first Scott Beck tower should be going up by the end of this year..,gyea!

Texas freeways are just so "Modern" compared to the other freeways, for example, Southern California, Yes, the freeways there are really fun but they are just so old, and half the signs are tagged by vandals, Freeways in Idaho, my home state, are relatively modern, but not as cool looking as ones in Texas!

Did you watch to the end? I was going to the airport to catch a flight! Plus, rush hour + LBJ = bad news.

That section should be totally redone IMO. Widened and repaved.

what about noise, what about ozone levels in the summer time? why no investments in public transportation, greener options ?!.. i am so happy that i left this new "LA" city

There is ROW for DART to put in a rail line, but I'd rather see DART work on D2 and inner-city projects at the moment.
