You must have been there the week previous to me. To anyone thinking about hiking to the top of the Rock it looks more intimidating than it is. I was able to make the hike, round trip in about 3 hours. Please note that I have mobility issues from a previous stroke. Just take your time and you can get it done. The views from the top of the rock are amazing. In my opinion it is one of the best maintained Washington State Parks.

I am surprised you didn't use hiking poles. I always have a set when I go hiking. Also, my wife and I usually camp at campgrounds. She prefers having access to a bathroom.

Hello from the States! It's really just personal preference. Do it to level the trailer for sleeping comfort while also taking some weight off the Jeep suspension 👌🏻

Nick Zentner does a great job explaining the geological history of that area and the floods, it is a pretty spectacular area to see for sure.

Picky people! We love camping at Steamboat Rock State Park. It’s beautiful in April when everything is still green. The birds there are amazing!
