Right? I'd love to see this channel replicate some of the maneuvers I've seen from frontline pilots. Let's see some divebombs and trick shots please. Drop some paint grenades into sunroofs already. Use another quad as a relay station. Carry and deploy a pair of FPV drones from a larger drone. This was a good start but we need more
@@pavelkolomiyets4487 As a former soldier, I'm all about this direction. It itches a war scratch for me. However, I'm not sure it's healthy for this particular hobby's mainstream audience. The last thing we need is the FAA ratcheting down on us due to one idiot releasing a paint bomb on a crowd for Tiktok.

Next time someone complains that 3D prints are to heavy for a 5 inch, Im gonna laugh real hard. It lifted more then I thought it would.
Note the major reduction in flight time though. Weight always matters even if it is technically possible to fly with 3lb weights on the drone. I also have some 3d prints on my quad but try to keep them as light as I can.

That's what missing in all motor spec sheet; max torque, max speed. Ofkos they need a dyno test rig, not a 'props recommendations' rig, on the bench.

Lots of new FPV pilots in Ukraine that have figured out you can still be pretty maneuverable with a 3lb "weight" slung below a 5" freestyle quad. :/

Nice test for RedCat to know what size boom booms they can strap to their drones going overseas. Why else would an FPV quad need to carry 3-7lbs?
I thought the PIDs would freak out into a fly-away condition with that kind of weight.
It would, if it had the option to fly away. But that thing wouldn't have far to go

DJI Fly App - Iphone charging cable - usb-c to lightning - unfortunately, there is no WalkSnail iphone app. :/

Is there a way for the DJI Integra goggles to display video output on a phone like you see them doing @ 9:46 ? I think they're using the Goggles 2 but I'm wondering if there's any way that I could show my friend what I'm seeing thru my goggles live.
Ye DJI fly app is pretty much plug and play for that use case

It was the Rotor Riot channel where you discussed the difference between the mass and the weight. A GoPro at full throttle may weight a pound 😂 Maximum weight is written in the motor specs and it is shocking too much for a person who knows no physics 😂
With an expected 5:1 thrust to weight ratio I'm hoping at least 4 times its weight... ;P

Is it possible to and build a more compact drone that can maneuver with 5 lb. I want a drone that can lift rope into tall trees.
You should use drone to lift smaller diameter line like paracord over object you want and then use that paracord to hoist that rope or what ever you want up there.... In theory, most likelly might not work always as planned and you end up with expensive drone tangled in paracord and tree branches... I suggest to google: Arborists weight and powerful slingshot to shoot that to tree. Much cheaper and that is what everyone uses to get their climbing ropes to trees 😉😉😉

I followed Joshua bardwells advice on his recent how to start series and got a boxer controller first. After some time in a simulator i realized it will be a long time before I fly something worth $600 ha.
How big can a quad be before it's not considered a freestyle drone?
thats not a size restriction but a manouvering thing if it cant flip with at least a bit of speed its not a freestyle drone
