    Nice storage I'm gonna have to get myself some of the plastic boxes

    Use the flexible steel sheets instead of the magnetic sheets. 😉

    Really nice set up. I had been using the old sterilite ones which are not as robust as these and yours look much better for transport. I am currently moving my mini's into the Ikea Billy/Oxford Bookcases with glass doors which are amazing. They are only $150 US and will hold over 2,000 28mm/7,000 15mm infantry if you add 2 shelves ($15 each avail in wood or glass) and only 1' deep so they don't take up too much floor space & 6' 7" tall. Shelf heights are fully adjustable except the middle shelf. Oh, they also sell them in 1/2 width's as well.

      They are pretty solid and easy to move around. It sounds like you’re going to have some pretty efficient and affordable storage!

      @@thelastbattalion3509 Affordable is right! Best price on the 9L RUB's I could find was $54 US in 4 packs (free ship) which is roughly double the price of the equivalent of the Ikea's for just the RUB's alone before inserts or magnets. I still want some RUB's for transport tho!

    Thanks for the Charlie Foxtrot shoutout I’ve been going to Dave’s baggage train and paying premium price for something much cheaper. Nice.

    Hi, I've just come across your very informative video as I'm looking to make a Lego sorter (like a sieve). Are the boxes stackable on top of one another without their respective lids, or do they need the lids on for the stacking feature to work? Thanks in advance :)

    • @thelastbattalion3509
      @thelastbattalion3509  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No they don't need the lids in order to stack (provided they are the same size of course). They will sit down slightly further into their equivalent of course without the lid, but otherwise should be fine.

      @@thelastbattalion3509 Thanks for your reply, I did purchase some and they do in fact stack without their lids on :) the Lego sorter project is in the works!

    I work for a shop that sells RUBs and atm there is a serious problem supplying them. I was told last week that the company cannot source the plastic to make them and the shortage will last till at least August.

    • @thelastbattalion3509
      @thelastbattalion3509  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The large boxes are 11 x 10 x 15" in size. The inserts were either sourced from Charlie Foxtrot Models or Sally 4th.

    How thick is the gramature of those magnetic sheets? 0,3mm or 0,8mm?

    • @thelastbattalion3509
      @thelastbattalion3509  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The sheets laid in the boxes themselves are 0.3mm I think.

      @@thelastbattalion3509 I know them and they're interested in learning more about magnetising historical miniatures. And the most common sizes etc. Do you have an email I can take so I can put you in touch with them? They'd send you free stuff if you can test it out :)

    I was told to use two magnets so the miniatures doesn’t spin.

    • @thelastbattalion3509
      @thelastbattalion3509  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's a good idea, two magnets would bond more solidly which would certainly pin the metal figures in place more.
