    Came here to learn the basics of creo drawing but was left with close to expert knowledge in drawing and explanation of GD&T, which experts have also even taught. Thank you very much.

    much informative and helpful video this is. in fact, these 4 videos of GD&T made it easy to understand basic concepts as well as some easy options while part modelling. thank you for this series of videos. i would like to watch more similar videos by you.

    sir in drawings how can I understand the dimensions are in inches or mm

    • @CADxTraining
      @CADxTraining  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That doesn't matter for most of the people, everybody has their own standard template done in either inches or matric. Generally if the dimensions are having two decimal place then it will be metric and if it is 3 decimal place It will be inches.

      It also depend on standard fallow by company ASME(first angel projection) or ISO(third angle of projection). ASME use inche and ISO use mm as unit. 😊😊

    Hi CADX,, have a query - both B and C datums are subjected to centrline only ??

    • @CADxTraining
      @CADxTraining  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Actually we have two different center line there for two diffrent feature.

      @@CADxTraining agree,, but both centrelines are collinier right ?? There is no offset

    • @CADxTraining
      @CADxTraining  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      As a beginner it is difficult to understand but I will try to to explain you. There are two different size bore which cannot be manufacture at the same time. If there is a relation between both the bore then you need to control both the centre axis using gd&t with each other.

    • @dilipka6528
      @dilipka6528 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@CADxTraining Got it thanks.. There are two different dia of bores and practically each having a different center lines.
      Way of explanation is good,, keep it up

    First of all those are not Datums, they are Datum Features. You don't pick primary Datum Feature by how are you going to measure part, it should be picked by parts application in use. Primary Datum can not be "tilted" as it is PRIMARY and everything else relates to it. Runout controls surface variation from nominal not axial.

    Firstly, there is no word in English such as 'parallely'. You just made it up from thin air. Please use 'in parallel' the next time. Secondly, your part Datums are incorrect sequentially. How can you refer Datum-B to Datum-A&C? Sequentially speaking, B is born /made before C!
