    It's a great driver's car !!! And real drivers don't care about sunroof, ventilated seats, 360 deg camera or door handles. Overall a great package, if it comes at a good price.

    To establish in India, Citroen has to go with aggressive pricing which induces buyers instead of giving hefty discount at later time for unsold inventory.

      citroen has generally been on the affordable side. it's only in terms of certain features which were not available, until now. if the price of the C3 and C3 aircrews remains the same, but now with the new features, then they will have a much better chance. Plus they need to consider marketing far more seriously. Along with that, setup showrooms, especially in Tier 2-Tier 3 cities, where price is more of a concern, where citron will automatically be a fine option, compared to Maruti.

      Many indians go or cherry on the cake features which I dont like personally. There have to be some compromises elsewhere.
      I like citroen for how they have packed the car. Super essential features with a lovely design, not even comparable to tata and mahindra who are just copying each other and sonetimes coming up with horrendous designs!
      Citroen will be bought by those who know how to drive and not depend on electronic features only, because the basics of these cars are the best in the market i have heard. Be it engine, suspension etc.
      i will definitely put it above all ither cars in this range.

    Love the brand, love the design. It is a very practical car. For a low price (hopefully) the lack of features can be ignored. Red looks awesome. Comfortable interiors, great suspension, fantastic engine for the price it would be offered makes this a perfect car for me at least ❤

    Most brands are selling jacked up hatchbacks at exorbitant price by just giving some fancy big screen, sunroof etc which doesn't got nothing to do with a good driver's car...

      No it isn't. Most major accidents are caused by rash drivers who although skilled arrogantly presume they're infallible.
      People who are amature and recognise their limitations drive accordingly are much safer in the road.
      Also, that's not an argument against a 360 degree camera, if anything it's more reasons that will help drivers reduce accidents.

    Looks are subjective..according to me, the exterior looks good with masculine looks, but the interior does not appear as premium
    wide bezels around the infotainment system, lack of push start/stop button, Old school door handlers are the few things Citreon should consider looking into. Hope Citreon basalt will be sent to GNCAP.

    Market is flooded with gimmicky products.. Just give a big tv and some fancy lights... They will be happy... But they doesn't know the basics about engineering side like ride quality, suspension setup, driving dynamics etc... Cause of these kind of fellows good old car companies left India...No good products coming..Now the market is flooded with cheap korean and chinese cars... Hope this doesn't happens to Citreon

    For 85ps one it should be 7L.
    For 110ps one it should be 9L + addons
    For auto it should be 10L or +
    Main compitation is tata curve.
    If on road basalts top model == cruve base.
    Then why not go for curve base only?
    Better engine, curve base will hv same or more features. And better design, 5 stars, more availability of showroom and service centers. Dont hv to worry abt company leaving india 😂

      Plus its missing a sunroof (which i understand is not necessary, but indian customers for some reason want it, but never use it or use it for wrong reason)
      many companies fail to understand what indian customers "want" instead they believe that they know what indian customers "need"
      i hope citroen can sell this car in huge numbers and make a breakthrough into a new segment like how Renault did with the duster in what we now call the compact SUV segment

    I feel it's gonna be a disappointment for Citroën again with having tata curv launch around d corner. D curv will come with a sequential led system fr drl, indicators , mirrors n tail lamps..that itself wil wow the crowd when compared to regular bulbs. Personally I hate sunroofs but d curv will have one, maybe panoramic who knows! D dated door handles, chunky steering controls, lack of cruise control, no ventilated seats or electronic seat adjustments.... Citroën shud surely fire their advisory panel n also whoever is doing the market analysis. Pricing cud be done right but its very difficult to for-go sucha lack of feature list.

    If the Spresso can be called an SUV, then I guess anything is possible.
    Frankly this (and also the Tata Curvv) is nothing but a notchback sedan with high ground 😂
    But, who cares. Everything is an SUV these days.
    I remember our Ambassador had quite good ground clearance, Perhaps Hindustan Motors should slap some side cladding and launch it again as a Sedan SUV. 😂😂😂

    Don't buy Citroen cars I am totally regretting it after purchasing it in Chennai. Car quality is pathetic and there is no service centre in Chennai currently nor a showroom for the past 4 months. Even my first service was pathetic. I am totally stuck now & totally stressed.

      ​@@Peaceiscoming669When your competitors are giving it and you are not, then price of the car should be lower. But I highly doubt the price will be lower. Not having features is not a problem but high price despite lack of features is a problem. There is a difference.
