All of a sudden? They've been signed to FBR for at least the last two albums before this. I'm sure it's easy for them to choose from a bunch of recording and producing techniques. This definitely feels like pushed 'industry standard' sound. I like it but early tfb 4evr

2 things: Heard this song for the first time, live at your 2021 Portland, OR show. Loved it the first time, is now my favorite song. Reveals a real talent writing a song you can love the first time, live. Second, my daughter and I have what you might call typical father-daughter troubles, nothing serious, but strain. And the Front Bottoms really bring us together. We went that show together, the show was amazing, and we love you guys. Thanks for this, it really matters.

I’m in recovery and have got one yr 13 days ago. I love how well Brian writes bcuz there’s just so much for anyone to relate to. For me I got high bcuz I felt that the world was fucked and just wanted to stay in the house where I could buy and I use and by the time I realized how much I was hurting everyone that loved me I LOOKED LIKE A JERK.

I would rather a band grew and changed as their musical inspirations change too, instead of just pump out the same sounds and stagnate - and I feel like this album encompasses that. It's different, a bit more poppy and bouncey, and you can see the growth from album to album that got the band here.
