If Ubisoft would actually be listening to the fans, the next Ghost Recon game would be both a TPS and FPS tactical game and not some shitty souless RPG or battle royale...
Wildlands was great because it just gave you the tools and let you go off on the world in any order you'd like, even at the very start you can just go to the hardest region. I think it also had a pretty decent focus. Like it tried to do that whole "foreign guerrilla fighter" thing, where you're a spec ops operative trying to blend in with the local population. But they didn't go far enough with it which is a shame... It's weird how then Breakpoint lacked any of Wildland's charm and focused solely on the "dude bro operator" aesthetic, not even gameplay wise.
Well, i think it is already tactical. I've played it A LOT, and i can tell, if u wanna go full Mayhem, it will be hard and not really enjoyable. Stealth and Avoiding huge firefights while coordinating a move, it's fantastic. U just need the right people.
This mod got my old squad back into the game. We all stopped playing the game back in 2018. Now we all are trying to do a Ghost mode run. We have not had this much fun since the launch of Ghost Recon Wildlands. Man does it feel great to be back with the squad in Bolivia.
Ive been thinking on how to get ubisoft on board with this for wildlands and most importantly BreakPoint... we just have to tell them we will PAY for a first person toggle "dlc". Wildlands still has its issues with the AA and Graphics, at least at 4k
I really hope that in some future they at least give the ability to customize the A. I Team-mate weapons, as just a random update in Wildlands. Because the default weapons for A. I Team-mates in Wildlands look kind of silly to me.
This game has always been fun to play! I do go back in time and play mostly because we have all been suckers for buying into BF 2042. I stop playing that game because my interest just isn't there as much anymore. Been playing Dying Light 2 and this game has been a bang so far as too Far-cry new release.
Expecting Ubisoft to make another tom clancy game that are close to the older iterations is far off. You only need to see new tom clancy games and updates to see that they are drastically shifting from the old games and Clancy's vision. Case and point 'Tom Clancy XDefiant'.
MathChief you should definitely give Breakpoint another try. There are lots of settings that Ubisoft added to turn of the looter shooter mode of the game and make it more tactical and immersive. Turning up the difficulty, switching off most on screen help and mini map, no more gear score and making the whole experience customizable. You can even turn off drones and helicopter patrols. My only issue now is that you get way too much ammo to be fully tactical but it's a far better experience now.
Ubisoft, simple formula for GR. 1. It needs to play as FPS. 2. Open world. 3. Multiplayer COOP oriented (This is the bread and butter) 4. Make loadout matter and what i mean by this, Vests/backpacks/nvg protection gear are actually working as intended and fulfilling there roles. 5. Keep it grounded no need for hightec space suits a team of 4-8 Ghosts going in to hostile country is enough, Wild lands had awesome setting. 6. Better narrative to the story, i know that with customization all over the place its hard to enroll every detail in cutscene etc, but maybe instead of personal story, it would be a story about the squad and how they perform and the result of their actions. unveil 7. Smarter AI, so far it feels like we are shooting paper kites or people made of carton boxes, seriously the virtual missions of that guy with the bandana had more meat on the enemies. 8. Add the god damn radio, playing through GRBP is such a chore, WildLands had awesome cartel radio that i enjoyed listening to while driving from point to point. 9. Driving with cars/Bikes is terrible and not enjoyable. 10. Not every cartel/bad guy knows who are Ghosts, being spotted and alerting the enemy by simply casually driving by does not make much sense.
Hmm very interesting. I still feel like the game itself would need to change quite a bit to really make this something special. Like no regen health. Lower ammo supply. You know similar stuff to that. Then this would really be something.
u right im the owner of that game can't believe thats ghost recon wild land looks,feel a brand new game...i wish they make more realistic fps tactical opend world with survival elements in more dept,details. make it more serious in any aspect of the game..with more high risk tencesion in the battle, smart responsive AI that makes smart desicions on point like a real person in any situation. like take cover more in dept ,comunicate with each other about your location, try to hunt you down or fall back..i miss the old days in metal gear 2 sons of liberty ..when u cover is expose the whole enemy base is trying to pin point ur location...and most of the time ur hiding and praying that they don't find u hiding under the bed or insinde a box..lol i really miss that feeling of real realistic high level of suspense.

Before I watch this. Ghost recon wildlands, at times may be repetitive, is an amazing game. I played it for 3 years straight when I didn’t have internet.
Cool! Wildlands was really good i played it on PS4 Pro, i got the best experience by turning off HUD elements like crosshair, enemy markers and such, but i wish there was a way to enforce HUD settings onto the entire squad. I never bought Breakpoint because of the futuristic setting and robots and stuff..
This is funny but lemme tell you choppers are supposed to start moving in circles towards the opposite direction of the main rotor once hit. It doesn't directly dip down like a stone as represented in this video game

Bolivia was such a great setting. Part of the problem with breakpoint is that the world is totally lifeless. Some island in the middle of now where and the whole island is under some kind of curfew or something. Sad.
The mod is fun but this are the problems : Head renders after respawn/outfit change. (Fix via Iron Sights (ADS)) Slight ADS/aim desync when holding hostage. (Fix by dropping hostage) Low/No visibility when using certain objects (I.E. APC/Shielded Minigun) During certain actions, camera rotation gets locked. SyncShot is broken. (use .CT version and don't use Super Ping) When swimming camera is below where the head should be. (won't fix) Some people have the camera stuck at their feet. (a fix is being looked into) Photo Mode doesn't work properly. Zooming in with the drone causes the drone model to block your view.
i played it took 7 months to complete lol. which was long lucky i was not working as would be longer. i always play one game at a time so you know i was desperate for something else lol. makes me think ghost recon advanced warfighter 1 and 2 and future soldier were good for being not a huge open world. Mathchief it was not Mexico but Bolivia. i always use to wonder why no tyre tracks on the road when driving vehicles.

It's always awkward when someone brings up Breakpoint because I actually like playing it as a hardcore looter shooter. It means that the loot is interesting due to getting small healing buffs on armour or reload buffs on weapons, but also if I put in the effort and always aim for the head, it's a one-shot because of the harder difficulty. I find it very fun, loot actually means something while the game keeps it's tactical realistic combat.

in breakpoint u can disable the grindy things like gear lvl and u can "customize your experience" not many settings but it helps alot

Pretty sure you can change no regen health in the settings. But less ammo would make these games much more tactical and fun

I liked it even when it came out, but this is a good enough reason for me to buy it on PC and try it again. It's like a whole new game.
