My husband & I went for our 40th anniversary. They brought me a BEAUTIFUL red rose. I wanted to take a tea COZY! Wish they would sell them!

My girls had done afternoon tea 2 yrs ago and I didnt go with them because my sis was with is on vacation that time and she doesnt like tea so i elected to stay behind. This year when we went back I was able to go and I absolutely loved it. Its going to be a must do from now on. It is such a relaxed atmosphere and the staff were all so nice and attentive when we were there. Im glad you all enjoyed it.

Taking my daughter to do this on her 17th birthday!! Gonna surprise her with all kinds of things while we are there for her big day. She loves Disney so much and the trip alone is more than enough for her but I’m gonna do a cake I ordered from Disney, gonna have them decorate the room, and gonna surprise her with this!! She is such a good kid and this is gonna make her day perfect. This is the best review I’ve seen on this. Most don’t do the Cheshire on the review and since that’s the one I’m planning for us to get I’m so happy to see this!! Thank you!

Although occasionally if you don't have a great server it's not as much fun. That cream that you were loving the Devonshire Cream it is at my absolute favorite thing about tea. You look very pretty in this video as did your friends! Thanks for sharing. We weren't going to do to you in December but now I'm thinking about booking it! Your dining reviews are killing me I keep adding things on LOL!
I did this back in 2010 and it’s the cutest little location! Didn’t have the cheese plate so not sure if they’ve changed up the menu :) we just had the sandwiches, cakes, scones and were offered the trifle too! I enjoyed the jam tarts from memory...and the swan pastries! The servers are such dears too. Just discovered your videos and love them :) nicely shot and both super comfortable in front of the camera! Very relatable :) I’m such a foodie so loving these food reviews...can’t wait to visit from the UK in September! X

It is a tearoom that I enjoyed to the fullest. I enjoyed everything that was served and I am a really picky eater! Ladies you were beautiful but, I dressed very casual like the guest behind you, shorts and a nice sleeveless top. What wonderful memories I have from the tearoom. Thank you for sharing.
I have done the Perfectly Princess Tea with my daughter and it was just as fabulous. They offer a lot of the same items. Thanks for sharing.

Going to Disney world next October definitely on the list now. Whenever my boyfriend and I go away we always do high tea wherever we are.
Afternoon tea. :-P Tea served in this manner is "afternoon tea", whereas high tea is far more casual and laid back.
Yes, enjoyed GF tea! We had a food allergy and CM Jose and Maria were very helpful. Consider going to Waldorf Orlando for afternoon tea comparison. Only issue with GF and Waldorf is they don’t take walk ins and hard to get reservations due to limited space and food is prepared ahead.

They need to use clotted cream with the scones ! I do like an afternoon tea at the GF , we generally do one every trip , I get dressed up for it lol! I do the same in the uk ! It is a tad expensive for what it is ! For a really good afternoon tea I’d pay $26 tax included ! They charge Fortnum Mason prices ! However Fortnum is better!

The gf and I went here for our two year anniversary and her first trip to Disney. It was absolutely outstanding. At the end of our tea our waitress brought out a rose for Audra to celebrate our anniversary too!
Thats awesome that Disney still takes the time and effort to make trips extra special!

my question is, is it really worth it? I've been hearing mixed reviews on TripAdvisor about the bread being stale and the pastries weren't that great. I really do hope it's worth the money and I just made a reservation so I'm hoping when I go next year that everything tastes great.
I went once and was disappointed. It’s not a bad high tea, but for the $$ there are WAY better high teas out there. Now I just wait until I go to London and book high tea there.
This is actually afternoon tea, not high tea. Despite the names making it seem the opposite, high tea is a casual gathering with the focus being more on the food than the tea. Afternoon Tea, such as that featured here, is more posh and sophisticated with the focus being more on the tea, hence why the food comes in smaller portions.
I have my daughter and I booked for our trip in December, but she does not eat cheese and it looked like there was an awful lot of it on the sandwiches. Are there other choices besides the ones you had or are they the only ones? It might not be worth it for us if those were the only choices.
Hi Elizabeth, unfortunately we aren't sure. Most of the menu is set up this way. Maybe someone here might have some better information on special menu items.
Does it seem like they would be okay with two people sharing the Cheshire or Bedfordshire Tea, or is it expected that each person will order their own?
Hi Jonny, each restaurant is different. Most will let you share an entree so I would imagine they would do the same here but we can't be 100% sure.

Great video as usual, one thing you could do for perfect pronunciation is the "shire" in Cheshire, Befordshire etc is pronounced sheer as in Shere Khan here in the old world! Also it's traditional to put the strawberry jam & cream on the scone at the same time .

You shouldn’t be taking tiny nibbles of the food, give some respect to the food this isn’t how food should be treated, and you’re at an expensive restaurant, nothing is going to be poisonous, be more open minded.
