What is it with these horribly mixed shows? Bass is basically non existent, guitars are too quiet, drums are too high in the mix and if you can’t hear anything else, you’ll only hear the vocals.
Either way, sad as it is this may be one of the worst recordings I've heard for a live show :'( But seeing them in March definitely made up for it and I heard new songs :) What does kinda sadden me is that even if he is enjoying it, Rob Barrett looks soo uninterested.
i don't get this music I really don't. I love bands that have screaming but you know you can actually understand them in bands like beartooth or my favorite Bad Omens as a example, but this is just straight up noise you cant understand. I bet without looking it up not one person could tell me the lyrics.
I love this song but I kinda get where you're coming from. You should listen to the album version, the lyrics are a lot clearer. I'm not somebody that has to hear every word perfectly but TBH in this vid it doesn't even sound like he's saying words. He's a great vocalist and still sounds brutal here, but I think touring takes a toll and for him it's the clarity of the lyrics. Doesn't help the vocals are mixed super loud here too, too loud IMO.
