- The second day of Elite Downhill practice at the 2023 #UCIMTBWorldSeries was a heater in Lenzerheide, Switzerland. The fastest DH mountain bikers danced around tricky technical sections of track and blasted big air on the jumps for the photographers.

You know what would be a cool format? Have an eliminator downhill race. Four racers start, first two at the bottom advance to the next round etc. That would be bloody spectacular.

Anyone help me out here; what is the reason for all the whistle blowing?
It audibly warns riders further down the track and out of sight of an incoming rider, in case of a crash or other disruption the rider can be slowed down by marshalls
indicates that there will be a passing bicycle, because the bicycle does not have a muffler
To warn people rider is coming
Otherwise people would be on the track / idots try to cross it ect ! Obviously the track needs to be clear for the riders , you hear a whistle/ get off the track ! 😉
