    Man...i recently bought a '14 WT with extended cab and I love it although sometimes when on the highway is a little bit hesitant with speed, i'm guessing it has to do somethin' with the AFM. I was hoping to be able to afford one of these High Sierra but you have to be rich to afford them. Love your truck by the way, also a Chevy and a coke man here. Great video keep 'em coming

    I just came from an 06 Silverado and upgraded to an 08. May not seem like a crazy difference but the new body style is something special to have.

      Which do u prefer the 06 Silverado or the 08

    • @lonebeech2624

      @@elmergarcia5253 I actually preferred the ‘06 model way more. So much more than I actually got rid of my 2008 and got that same older body style that I missed. It was just the better overall truck to me and for my needs. I now own a 2003 GMC Sierra 2500HD and it’s just as good as my 06. Both are better than my 2008.

      @@lonebeech2624 oh dang cuz I wanna buy a truck but don’t know if I should get a 06,12, or a 14 or just get a Sierra.

      @@elmergarcia5253 my personal choice out of those would be an 06 Silverado. Some will call me crazy but if you find one in good condition, you’ll love it.

      Thanks for the support buddy! I'll make you a video in the near future about the remote start features. Yes, you can turn on the heated seats or cooled seats with remote start.

    Another great video. Do you have a catch can? I put one on my 17 High Country 6.2L with clean side separator. Your right HC is classy and it's well built compared to Ram and Ford. Find Ford flimsy and not solid but that's my opinion. I'm averaging 21 / 22 MPG and don't use it for towing just wanted the big motor. Notice you still have as I call it hammer head intake. Swapped it for Android tube and AEM Performance dry filter in stock box.

    • @DustinT
      @DustinT  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dang man! Thats some good mileage. Can you send me a link to the separator?

    • @anthonymacneil2279
      @anthonymacneil2279 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dustin T Check out Elite RX catch can and clean side separator site. Payed close to $300 that includes shipping to Canada you'd pay less being in US. Also use Amsoil Signature Series with there filter good for 25,000 miles or one year great stuff.

    Hey man hows your truck been doing? How many miles?

  • @jakeschisler7525
    @jakeschisler7525 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    My first truck was a 74 Chevy stepside, 76 Chevy 3/4, 93 Chevy 4x4 stepside, 93 regular cab, 96 Chevy regular cab 4x4, Ram 3/4 4x4, ,2 more Ram 1/2 4x4, 08 Chevy 1'2 4x4 4 door LTZ, and now 2018 LT 4x4 double cab 2500 hd. plus a few Camero's all brand new. My 2008 Chevy had the best air conditioner ever it would put frost on side windows, I had it over 10 years traded it with 66,299 miles on it, But front end was starting to leak in some areas so time for it to go. This new 18 Chevy started out with steering issues too much play but after a few trips to a dealer was fixed, not where I bought it they said nothing was wrong with it. But after calling General Motors it was fixed. I drove another Chevy 1/2 ton it had where you stop at a light the engine stops didn't care for that! Bad thing with power folding mirrors is when the cheap gear inside breaks quite costly to have that fixed. Reason for good seals around doors is the fact there aren't drip edges on top

      How do you operate them? I just bought an 04 that is supposed to have power folding mirrors but they don’t seem to work. May be aftermarket or something.

    • @DustinT
      @DustinT  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks buddy! Stay tuned for more! I have not towed with this truck yet, but I average around 15 in town and 20 on the highway. Keep in mind this truck has 33 inch tires and a 3.5 inch lift, so mine are probably a little lower than average numbers. Coke keeps me going man, haha!

    I have a 2015 high country and my favorite feature is the collision avoidance systems like the forward collision alert and the lane departure warning, the collision alert has saved me from a handful of rear end crashes. Some may call it gimmicky too but it’s saved me from expensive repairs 😂
