For now I’d use an Xbox controller if you have one. Sony controllers are very delayed on Steam. I’ve tried all 3 (plus the Nintendo pro controller) and the only one without delay on pc is Xbox at the moment. Probably has something to do with Windows 11 not steam.
You play Android 18 at all? My favorite character across the franchise and is the only other character in SZ with a Blast Super that changes when you equip a different uniform.

There are so many defensive options in this game. Z-counter vanish, super counter, revenge counter, explosive wave, wild sense, afterimage, etc. Practice is key. Don't give up on the fight even if you're losing. You learn more that way. Rate quitters don't get better nearly as quickly.
when u are hit u can press "R3" or "RS"(on xbox) to perform super armor attack, but if your opponent press "O" or "B" (on xbox) in time this interaction will happen

I read somewhere that it takes ~55 seconds to heal a bar might be different for every character tho
