Elmer's Big Parade Blackpool Info

- From the 13th April 2024 until the 9th June 2024 a herd of 71 elephants have taken up residence in different areas of Blackpool.
This is a free public Art display and all these elephants will be up for grabs in an auction later in June. All proceeds from this auction will raise money for Brian House Children's Hospice here in Blackpool.
So download the app "Elmer Blackpool 2024" or pop into the Brian House Shop in the Town centre and grab a map, get your walking shoes on and see if you can find all of them, the smaller ones are to be found inside shops, attractions and hotels where the public can enter to see them during opening hours.
Brilliant Art Trail here in Blackpool and all for a fantastic charity.

Good to see you a wee bit better Caroline. I love this. My ex used to collect Cow Parade figurines and there was a similar event in Edinburgh with life sized coos. We managed to photo all but one. I ended up buying it! Stupid sod. PS, that travelodge has only 3 disabled spaces and the car park next to it is £14 for 24hrs. Coins only! The woman in the corner shop has the patience of a saint! One donation to Brian house winging it's way. xx

Childrens charities are very close to my heart. As for the coo, It's sitting in my mates garden alongside a red phone box. He also has a life size Dalek in his living room. The guy needs help! Don't overdo it Caroline. xx

Thanks Dean, I'm ok day 1 of a 3 day course of antibiotics which are helping already. I hope they see it off for another few months while I get referred to Urology, fingers crossed x

We had elephants in Sheffield quite a few years ago for Sheffield children's hospital charity,my granddaughter and granddad walked round with the map and found lots, brilliant idea. Then probably a couple of years ago we had the bears doing the same for charity, outside the crucible where the snooker was on I had a photo taken with one that all the snooker players had signed,was fab.

Powered by antibiotics lol, I've spotted a few of these elephants whilst driving so hopefully will go find them all over the next couple of weeks and put a full video together showing photos of them all. They are gorgeous, weather is ok here today yesterday we had some good rain showers and sunshine between them, the wind makes it a bit chilly but I like to be cool anyway lol.

Yeah I have photographed loads of them there are 71 in total with 33 large ones, I will be doing another video on then next week probably x

The App doesn’t work on iOS it ask for Location services to be switch on but my is switch on so what is the problem with the app
I honestly don't know why it's not working for you, my phone is an Android, it says available for apple too. I'm not very techy though so I can't really help on that front ...elmerblackpool.co.uk/app/ maybe contact the organisers for advice xx
