Hey Woof Pack! This was from my stream and wasn't purely made for youtube so it's not machine gun of information but I still thought it had good points in it. So to make it more informative I will post timestamps and thoughts on mistakes and things I punished. Going into game - Kass main goal is to farm and make it to 6. When 6 laning becomes WAY easier. Go even in farm at minimum, just spam Q on enemy when you can. 1:35 galio doesn't push me under tower so I freeze early to keep the wave under my tower. This gives me an easy way to harass galio while also being safe under my tower. 2:21 my wave is slow pushing to the enemy. I want to fix this by fast pushing. Kassadin struggles with this due to lack of AOE wave clear. Lux shows up to try to stop the slow push but is only level 1. Levels are extremely big in league so despite being 2 man ganked I grab a kill on lux. At this moment I figured with conq healing I could kill galio but his passive CD is really short. The fight was closer than I thought but I barely scrape away by fighting in my own creeps to grab the kill. 3:00 I tp back to fix the wave but honestly it was only 3 casters. Not worth to do, mistake on my end. I should of saved it. The wave was going to fix itself. I then roam top due to my wave fully crashing with a big wave. This means it will slow push back. In lower elos people don't pay attention to the map as often so I figured doing a super random roam being only a level 3 kass could work, but it didn't. As soon as teemo got into a brush I gave up knowing he is stealthed 4:10 I max ping that galio is bot to let my team know. It wasn't enough but it's good that I did ping as much as I could. When galio roams I push in to deny creeps. I want to get 6 asap so I can also roam 5:30 I saw that kayn walked into the brush but did not leave. Me now being 6 I know I am strong. I walk to see if he wanted to fight. I want him to make a mistake, but he ran, so since he did run nothing happens. If he fought me I would win - I am trying to create opportunites through giving options for the enemy to fight me 5:40 I now will always fight galio due to me chunking kayn so if he comes he will not be healthy and also I am stronger than galio due to being level 6 and my champion just being stronger in dueling 5:54 galio randomly used E here, with that being down I go super hard on him (with 2 stack rift so lots of dmg WITH conq procced too). Galio if he wanted to trade should of waited till Conq was down. Kayn then shows up. I have 10 stack conq, 3 stack rift. I know my champion damage well and know I can win seeing kayn HP. I managed to grab both kills due to me knowing this. From this point on I will always play super aggro since I am fed now. I will make galio feel uncomfortable laning by Ring in aggro and trying to pull the jungle mid, that will help out all my laners since we can see kayn come mid to help. 7:26 because I play aggro galio gives me the first push. I want to extend my lead to other lanes so I look for a bot roam, the lane who has been struggling the most due to so many ganks. I look for a flank angle where wards probably won't be to give the best chance of being unnoticed My teammates do a great job at starting it when I go snaring ezreal and I am able to clean up the rest. Galio should of just left as soon as ezreal died. He cannot fight a kassadin and died not respecting a fed kass consistent damage through ults. 9:05 When pushing I go back to bot side to see if there is vision control as the next wave is coming. I use this time to clear vision making a path back to bot that would once again be through fog of war. 9:30 after shoving mid I see a good TP ward bot right behind the enemy. I figure I can catch them if they are this far up (they cannot run to tower, they would run into me and I would kill) 11:02 I see teemo walk from top into river (kayn is dead) I think me and ornn can pinch so I ping it out 12:05 I see that bot lane wants to take bot tower, I feel they will greed and I can collapse behind so I give mid wave for a attempt to kill them I repeat how bad I need 11 lol 14:00 enemy just oversteps, I didn't really do anything 15:40 we take mid tower with rift, it is unlikely that we can take two due to people being missing and alive on the enemy team (legit no one dead). The next best play as the enemy is coming mid is to collapse on this over exteneded teemo. 16:15 after teemo dies the enemy tried to kill my bot lane mid, they went a bit too deep so I feel I can chase them down as kassadin being level 11 now 16:53 I didn't know ezreal had heal, he played very well. I am lucky I survived. It was not worth chasing for this, I could of given 1k gold 17:30 I realize they have 1 dragon away from dragon soul. I make sure to plant that into my head for next dragon that I will not be just going for kills for myself but for the dragon. 18:00 kass thigns, he is too far up, needed to play safer 18:30 teemo again over extended so I should grab a free kill while not objectives are contestable (grabbing this kill doesn't mean my team loses anything somewhere else) 19:50 ornn get collapsed on but our entire team is already in their red jungle meaning we can counter it after 20:40 I go aggro but back off knowing I could die to this ezreal since I am not that tanky in a 1v3 scenario (just morg black shield) 20:57 lux walks into me with her Q being down. important CD 22:00 we set up dragon and see teemo bot. Ezreal is mid the most important member of the enemy. I look for a flank because creating a 4v5 scenario around dragon would be a huge play for us to secure it 22:37 I know that we got kayn. I could chase and maybe kill lux and ez but the safer play is the dragon. It's important to know when to turn off the go switch so you don't throw. 23:05 I thought I could find someone going for mid wave but I think I walked onto a ward, I die and maybe could of lived through seraphs and flash. Big mistake. the enemy honestly should of forced baron in this 4v5 scenario. It would be the best chance for them to win. But since they don't I still feel comfortable. 23:50 teemo just splitting I want him dead because it will create less pressure on our team. I dont want any of my teammates catching waves from this teemo split so taking him out of the picture is good 25:30 I swap to sweeper. I want the enemy team to walk into us. To force an enemy to walk into us they need to not know if we are doing a certain objective. (like baron). I felt that we were not clearing wards enough and the enemy has wards on baron so I swapped to enable this play to happen. 25:56 I stop the teemo split, I want my team to focus purely on teamfight and this guy needs to be out of the picture before then 26:25 I try to start a fight while 4v5 as my team does baron. I know my champ with crazy mobility can walk aggro vs lots of people. I mainly will try to go for either the smite user to stop a baron steal or ezreal since he is the carry 27:35 stop the teemo split again 28:00 fatfinger my zhonyas cuz im that good 28:40 people respawn so we should reset, I do but someone gets caught out. So I try to quicky join the fight 29:15 level 16 900 AP kassadin things
Gold in S1-2 was the equivalent of what diamond is now, thanks to people complaining about delusional "elo hell" and getting tiers deflated to sooth their incompetent egos. Gold now is S1-2 high bronze or low silver roughly.
What i noticed is people in low elo just act like everyone is supposed to play PERFECT and win lane every single game. Screw matchups, scalings, cheese picks or enemy jungler camping a lane. Everyone just must go 5/0 in the first 4 minutes of the game And if they have a lead they dont try to help a losing lane, they blame the losing lane saying how good they personally are as a player (even if they got fed on somebody inting) and how they dont deserve these “bad teammates”
Sometimes i finish the game with a 20/0 score, but sometimes i have a bad game, like last night, i was 1-5, the Enemy mid, a Yasuo came to bot 3 times, and i was ganked 2 times, the jg never came, the mid said it was my fault to lose the line and the sup kept harassing the sup instead of the ADC, by the end of the game everyone was flaming me, even the 0-7 mid.
The flipside is as a jungler, sometimes a lane is too far gone. You "helping" a bad bot can sometimes make things worse, or at best cost you time you should be getting fed by another more successful lane. And sometimes if you're having a shitty game and you're behind by too much you should realize that its no one elses fault, and your best chance is having the other lanes get fed. Im not saying to not to help your team ever, but sometimes its just suicide.
ShardtheFox yes sure! What you are describing is decision making and you as a jungler should recognize whether u can help a losing lane or not. If you cant its fine as long as you trade something with enemy team in return and as long as its not a lategame hypercarry that is getting fed. What I was saying referred mostly to laners that REFUSE to even try to move around the map and extend their lead because most of the time a losing lane has a point when it can be helped especially if both jungler and another lane come. And they refuse to acknowledge that killing your lane opponent without taking anything else after is pretty much useless and means nothing
Harry Thompson lol that gold player will completely get shat on before having the chance to test skill diff. Being challengers require advanced knowledge of wave control, warding, trading and macro decision making. If that really happens the gold player will prob be 0/5 or 0/6 at 10 min in the game

*Me playing gold*: The entire other team has a 70% winrate and counter every laner *When a youtuber plays gold*: "Ok so the other team tried to 1v1 me 3 levels down and i got 10+ kills before 15 mins off of him.

@Enrique Pantoja Don't try to sugarcoat it, it does ruin it for most people. I would rather win a game and get lp then lose lp for a "learning experience" which is supposed to be in regular games. I do like the videos where he smurfs but the reason I watch this guy is that he does not do it often and is actually educational. Unlike others who do it for clicks. Smurfing in ranked is literally just trying to boost your own ego except for people who (like pekin) don't get real ego boosts from it.

I rather have a smurf than a feeder. Feeders and afks actually ruin the game my friend. There's nothing worse than someone running it down 20+ deaths than typing "gg" and leaving.

tbh I usually dislike smurfs but considering how informative this is and the fact that you're not doing some "IRON TO CHALLENGER" type shit I do enjoy these types of videos, helps me a lot on mistakes I might be making as well.

It’s because he was doing really well. His bot lane actually kinda fed at the beginning, and if he didn’t help them get ahead, they would’ve been really behind. When you carry by an extreme amount, the people on your team don’t get mad :)
As a gold player who started the game around 6 months ago I don’t feel like I learn much from you stomping on a relic shield galio mid who is gone from lane for like the first 5 minutes. I see you trying your best to be informative, but this game just makes me support point aphelios made in the beginning.
Watch how he plays instead of complaining, I’m learning more from him than all the other idiots that are gold and act like they know what they doing. He is showing everyone what not to do and what to do when u are losing early laning phase and giving advice on how to think/play.
@@b-i-c7969 I played Heroes of the storm on a pretty high level, so I had some decent moba experience before (though it only translates partly as I had to discover). Also I got into league cause of some friends who themselves play diamond and above, so I got some useful tips and feedback early on. Just keep on pushing yourself, you'll get there!
Honestly i feel so bad for the enemy team, imagine trying to play and then a challenger player smurfs in the enemy team. For real now that was a rude thing to do, you could have played a custom game with 9 other gold players...

I get the point of it for practicing champs you haven't used before, but for making videos to make money off of youtube from delusional players that think they'll ever improve much, by abusing unskilled players you shouldn't be matched with? Most players simply aren't master+ material, and no one deserves to be stuck in a pointless 30+ minute game against or with a smurf. Video smurfs should be banned to a man.

If someone wants to improve, see guides and learn theorical LoL. For me as a new low lvl lol player playing against smurfs sucks, yet there are some almost every game, although not as much as players leaving or afk which happens 80% of time too, so i just work on my skills in bots and try to learn something new if i go pvp
I started like a month or two ago and that never happens to me(really only play blind pick). Maybe once every 10 games someone leaves, but that's it. As for smurfs, I worry more about the ubiquitous 18/4 enemy yi that qs through my cc and meditates through my combos. As lux, once this happens I'm pretty much dead in the water.

Imagine PekinWoof going to some box training and for his sparring he has to go agains someone like Taison. After been beaten to pulp he would get the idea of how low or average elo LoL player feels after this.
I also think he could've just done a custom game but that's not really the same thing because people don't really tryhard in normals, let alone custom games. Yes it may be unfair but to the people saying stuff like ''poor gold players just trying to learn and improve/climb'' you're wrong. What you should do if this happens is take the game you were in and rewatch it. It's literally the best learning environment because not only can you watch a challenger players pov, you will also know much better what you could've done better since it's your own game so take it as a learning experience.
The my was Bronze, but the whole enemy team and my team is Gold because I am 4-0 in this video. My Elo cannot catch up to the actual rank I'm playing in fast enough.
Locked kassadin into a ranked game after watching you play him. Pretty sure my teammates aren't gonna forget my 3/11 kassa anytime soon :D In my opinion you can't climb the same way like you did for example 3 seasons ago, people got way too good at this game, even in gold they almost always have decent farm stat and general understanding of all the basics. Speaking from my experience, I was d3 otp fizz 2 seasons ago but now I can't get past freaking gold 1.
Pekin, pressing tab means you're checking the cs and items that the other team has, right? And when do you look at the map, and where do you look at what times? Like you look at bot when you see a potential good roam?

I like all your videos, super nice. But I have problems with smurfs, I got bullied some times because they wanted to carry hard in my lane. But I don't want to just get carried, I want to improve and getting carried will only cause me to face opponents too skilled for me while taking away from me a learning expirience. Not to mention the frustration for the enemy team. I prefer your challenger games, you are simply amazing and performing anyways. BTW how bad do you think lux is? I like her but I think she is really weak post laning phase it's so easy to pick without summs up and I find myself always under farmed once I start grouping
Improving is also learning when to allow yourself to be carried and support your carry though. Even in high elo there’s usually one member hard carrying that game and you have to step back and share your farm with them.

I do like the videos where he smurfs but the reason I watch this guy is that he does not do it often and is actually educational. Unlike others who do it for clicks. Smurfing in ranked is literally just trying to boost your own ego except for people who (like pekin) don't get real ego boosts from it.

It’s because he was doing really well. His bot lane actually kinda fed at the beginning, and if he didn’t help them get ahead, they would’ve been really behind. When you carry by an extreme amount, the people on your team don’t get mad :)

As a gold player who started the game around 6 months ago I don’t feel like I learn much from you stomping on a relic shield galio mid who is gone from lane for like the first 5 minutes. I see you trying your best to be informative, but this game just makes me support point aphelios made in the beginning.
Watch how he plays instead of complaining, I’m learning more from him than all the other idiots that are gold and act like they know what they doing. He is showing everyone what not to do and what to do when u are losing early laning phase and giving advice on how to think/play.

Also I got into league cause of some friends who themselves play diamond and above, so I got some useful tips and feedback early on. Just keep on pushing yourself, you'll get there!

For me as a new low lvl lol player playing against smurfs sucks, yet there are some almost every game, although not as much as players leaving or afk which happens 80% of time too, so i just work on my skills in bots and try to learn something new if i go pvp
I started like a month or two ago and that never happens to me(really only play blind pick). Maybe once every 10 games someone leaves, but that's it. As for smurfs, I worry more about the ubiquitous 18/4 enemy yi that qs through my cc and meditates through my combos. As lux, once this happens I'm pretty much dead in the water.

What you should do if this happens is take the game you were in and rewatch it. It's literally the best learning environment because not only can you watch a challenger players pov, you will also know much better what you could've done better since it's your own game so take it as a learning experience.

In my opinion you can't climb the same way like you did for example 3 seasons ago, people got way too good at this game, even in gold they almost always have decent farm stat and general understanding of all the basics. Speaking from my experience, I was d3 otp fizz 2 seasons ago but now I can't get past freaking gold 1.

I like all your videos, super nice. But I have problems with smurfs, I got bullied some times because they wanted to carry hard in my lane. But I don't want to just get carried, I want to improve and getting carried will only cause me to face opponents too skilled for me while taking away from me a learning expirience. Not to mention the frustration for the enemy team. I prefer your challenger games, you are simply amazing and performing anyways. BTW how bad do you think lux is? I like her but I think she is really weak post laning phase it's so easy to pick without summs up and I find myself always under farmed once I start grouping
Improving is also learning when to allow yourself to be carried and support your carry though. Even in high elo there’s usually one member hard carrying that game and you have to step back and share your farm with them.
