    The part where Tia said she saw herself through others, resonated with me so much ! I had that experience for so long and I’m finally learning who I am for real. Not the mother Paula, not the sister, or daughter. The person ! It’s so real

    Weird to see comments that yall think Tia was being shady towards Tamera. I think she was being nice. If you notice their pattern, they were distant for awhile and from the outside looking in, they are rebuilding their relationship. They are different and she didn’t say anything you can’t guess by looking at their instagrams. Tamera’s instagram reads traditions joy and Tia’s reads independent joy. Tahj is the glue in the middle who supports whoever he’s around at the time. lol

    I love Tia and her transparency in this interview! It’s refreshing to see people on a grand stage question societal norms and expectations. There’s almost 8 billion people on earth and I think it’s incredibly illogical to expect all of us to have the same beliefs & opinions. Loved this, as a lifelong fan. Hearing the way she describes Tamara confirms why I’m so drawn to her. She’s sunshine and traditional. I feel you can be both traditional and yet still ask questions. I’m Christian, but I will ask questions. I learn about others, but respectfully say no, that’s not for me. I’m glad the spiritual route works for her. I was restless and tormented and didn’t feel at peace until I started to dig deeper in Christianity. Good interview. Coming from someone who’s attention span isn’t long enough to sit through a whole podcast 😂

    Breaking generational curses is done with the power of the Holy Spirit. I think she probably meant she is more willing to try new things and paves the way for her family. If anybody breaking curses it’s Tamera.

    • @JadedForAlways
      @JadedForAlways 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +17

      The phrase “breaking generational curses” has caught on in this era and it has a particular meaning. It means they’re improving upon practices within their family that were less healthy/efficient. For example, if your mom hit you for every mistake you made like accidentally spilling milk. She does it because her mother hit her for the same types of things and her mother before her and so on. An ancestral cycle that no one has yet to correct/improve. So, you decide not to hit your child for mistakes. That’s a generational curse you broke. I agree that instead of saying breaking generational curses she could have said she’s more willing to try new things and paves the way. But, again, she could be breaking generational curses that we have no firsthand insight into because we do not know these people personally.

Not to say Tamera not happy however Tamera has spoke on how it took Adam years to fall in line maybe there may be issues there but she “traditional “ as Tia said that she ain’t leaving so that’s breaking a curse … and by all means I love both ladies just what I think

    We will never know why Tia decided to divorce Corey. I'm sure she felt it was the only way forward. I'm sure she felt guilt and pressure not to do it. We can't judge her journey because we don't know all of the factors that pushed her to divorce and everyone's journey is different. It is unfortunate though that she felt getting a divorce meant finally being herself and freeing herself. Ideally you can do those things within a marriage. I wish Tia and Tamera the very best and hope they reach self-fulfillment and actualization in their own way.

    Tia is a twin so naturally twins will be compared against each other in my opinion Tia did not discredit anything about Tamara. She only highlighted how she move differently than what she was taught and because Tamara chooses to stay traditionally what she was taught it’s nothing wrong with that Tia is simply saying that, she want to know more. She wants to explore see different than what she was taught. She didn’t know manner this credit this or talk about Tamara in a hater stance. If you focus on what she says, she said she feels like the black sheep almost of the family black sheep Naturally feels like they stand alone and goes against the traditions and the morals of what was taught what was this in the family so if you ask me to make Tia is really talking about herself.

      the problem is, we need to stop judging because what is good for you may not be good for everyone else. Why do we all feel that our beliefs should be everyone else's. If you are a Christian, you should also know passing judgment is not Christian like MY GOSH!

      Y’all Christians need to mind your business and consider that your religion isn’t one that everyone has to believe. That’s y’all problem now! Let spiritual people be, y’all swear you’re so saved and holy yet judge the most and talk the most shit !

      @Zyraia that part! This person's comments is exactly why she said what she said. She literally said, "who am I told tell them their religion is wrong and what I'm doing is right?"

    I feel like there is shade at your sister - you got a divorce, that's not breaking generational curses you have just started a curse actually. And just because you are now getting out of your shell doesn't mean your sister is up tight.

      This is all to make herself feel better for her new reality. I love the both and I’m sure Tamera will understand the deeper meaning on her shade. Tia was shading her sister when she first got engaged. Unfortunately this is not new, but now, the stability Tamera have in her family puts the spotlight on her for having a divorce like her parents. She continues the curse, deep down she knows it, even though she said the opposite.

      You have no idea how her husband treated her he has done a lot on camera to show that he doesn't treat her so well.

      She’s clearly the competitive twin. Even when they and their show together this falls in line with how her personality showed on that show. She’s very much about her and often talks down or in not so great of a light or shady on her sister.
