Sir, same configuration main bhi kiya hu to program plc me download ho gaya hai but hmi me click karne pr download to device ka option highlight nahi hota hai.
Check the version and IP address of the HMI first,
then create project for the HMI using the same version of TIA Portal software
and then select this HMI project and download to HMI.

Now modify the uploaded project and re-download on HMI.

How to know version of plc
Follow the steps given below.
1 - Use the highest version of TIA Portal you need to initially connect online
S7-1200 PLC to check your internal Tia Portal version.
2- Try to upload project
" for example
PLC program Version is v15 and your TIA Portal Version is V17 "
then the below massages shall be display
"the program on the cpu is incompatible with step7 project
version of program on the cpu : v15 ..> version of step7 project v17"
It means the version of plc program is v15,
so you need v15 TIA to upload project of PLC
So in this way you can find the version of Siemens S7-1200 PLC.

@@plctraining i have followed the steps above using Tia v17 and there was no issue while uploading i think the plc supports v17.
@@plctraining the plc supports Tia v17 but my HMI KTP409 basic version is 15.1 what to do now.?
First option: You can upgrade the firmware image of HMI form 15.1 to 17.
Second option: Downgrade the PLC project from TIA17 to TIA15.1.
After that you can communicate PLC with the HMI.
