Can I add "The Sailmaker's Apprentice" by Emiliano Marino, which is a great introduction to traditional and modern sailmaking techniques... and fits your criteria, I think (thought reasonable minds can certainly differ on the question of whether sailmaking is boatbuilding, of course...)...

I would add the following: The Rigger's Apprentice by Brion Toss, Backyard Boat Building by Sam Rabbl and Small Boats You Can Build (Volumes 1&2) by John Gardner. Gardner's books have plans for about 47 different small boats and Rabbi's book has plans for a number of his designs. Thank you for sharing your time and skills. Have a wonderful Holiday Season.

His haven 12 1/2 build was FANTASTIC!! Love ya Chuck!! One of my favorite tee shirts!! Check out Jenkins boat works. He also supports all of the most popular wooden boat building channels. He's talked about them. Chuck deserves a check out and a follow.
I don't have Planking & Fastening, and I thought I had the two books by Russell but I'm not seeing them on my shelf. Maybe something I had on a wishlist at one time. I have the other two mentioned along with a lot of other books. Thanks for a good informative video.
Those are great books 3 that I will add Is Chapelle's American Small sailing Craft (Got some great plans thru that book by ordering from the Smith Texas scow schooner Would be a great live aboard V bottom No yucky multi hull :)New Haven sharpie New York Sloop similar to a sandbagger Cape Cod catboat, Stick up rig, Maryland double ended crabbing skiff also from the Smith a 2 masted crabbing skiff Chapelle's Boatbuilding manual Jerry Stelmok Wood and canvas Canoe And the gougeon Brother's Cold molded book Buit a cold molded 8 foot pram when they had plans years ago Some of those boats Parker has in his The Sharpie book Thanks Well more than 3 :) The stick up rig the fore and main masts are V shaped on the boat

Especially since my philosophy has ever been, “get it close, and finish it with thixo (used to be “putty”).” My favorite authors, in random order, are Hankinson & Witt, (Dynamite) Payson, Buehl, and Rabl. I have a pretty extensive boat building library. I peruse them all the time. My go to author for general small boat knowledge is Gerr.
Woodenboat is a must Been buying their mag off and on since issue 1 A shipwright on the whaling ship the Morgan said his favorite measuring rule is the 6 foot folding one Since he seldom measured anything over 6 feet Notice that seems to be Bob's too From looking at the vids Do have Greg's half hull book Terminology is key Find it funny on the TH-cam cruising channels where they buy a 6 figure Multi hull have sailed 30 to 50K miles and they don't know what a ceiling is :) Yea Travel and time years ago I wanted to go to another school The Northwest School of wooden Boatbuilding Had the money for the scool Just not enough to live in Washington state for a year So, i couldn't keep builing boats from reading books at home So. I got into Lutherie But, boats will always be number one
If, you want to maybe some day work for a wooden boat building company Just knowing some lofting will be a big help will show them how interested you are

I couldn't agree more about the Wooden Boat planking book. I just received it as a gift and I am sure it will be a regular reference volume.
