      My Scorecard
      Trout - 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12
      Alvarez - 2, 7 (10-8), 11
      Even - 9
      After watching this fight again, I'm surprised at home many rds Trout easily won. Alvarez did little to nothing in most of those rds other than land 1 or 2 big shots. Trout boxed masterfully, backed up Canelo continuously, tired him out and made him swing and miss wildly.
      The announcers were terribly biased for Canelo.
      You knew there was no way Trout would get a decision in Texas though.
      Notice that they didn't show the compubox numbers.

      @@SunsTo7 History will be kind to Canelo on that issue because all the evidence pointed to contamination and he was vindicated with the negative follicle test. The whole thing would have never even been a violation today with WADA saying their previous policy was unfair. Meanwhile it's especially hypocritical for people to condemn him in the boxing world when he's one of the few fighters who've been consistently testing for years.
      At the time most fighters weren't testing period with no way of knowing what substances are in their bodies, and some were even flat out refusing to be tested. Even now there are still many not submitting. So it's ridiculous to try to condemn a fighter who has been tested for years despite all the evidence pointing to his innocence.

    How do you figure “he’s tired” when your fighter threw punches for 30 seconds straight without a connect but got scraped at the end 😂🤣

    Un adversario muy " collon ", desde el principio de la pelea, se vio la superioridad del Canelo. 18/11/20. 🇲🇽

    No way Trout won this fight.
    I love his humility in defeat though. 💯

      I agree trout lost but it was close if canelo didn't get that knockdown I had it a draw

    • @californio1850
      @californio1850 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@Idunno-gl1wz Nah, Canelo was both landing the bigger shots and also showed the better defense. He evaded and countered Trout when he tried sitting down on his shots while limiting him to arm punches and jabs. Also, there was open scoring so Canelo likely coasted knowing he had the lead especially after the KD. Canelo was pretty much in his comfort zone throughout while Trout had to do his best just to tread water with him.

      a close fight doesnt mean a win. plus you dont win a fight by jabbing all night.

      gaeltavo Trout estaba invicto, joven, y apenas había vencido a un Miguel Cotto fuerte de 32 años

      Eso es porque en Mexico hay mucha ignorancia. En Mexico mucha gente lo critica por el simple hecho de que no tiene el tipico "estilo mexicano" de entrar a dar y acaparar todos los golpes con el rostro. Es inverosimil que Canelo en Estados Unidos sea tan querido y en su pais natal exista gente tan estupida e ignorante, incapaz de apreciar la enorme calidad de Canelo como boxeador

    • @ElAzotador
      @ElAzotador 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Canelo le duela a quien le duela, no solo es el mejor boxeador mexicano del momento, sino de toda la historia y su record habla por si solo. Hasta el gran Roberto "manos de piedra" Duran lo dijo "cuando Canelo se retire, va a ser considerado el mejor boxeador mexicano de la historia" y esta en todo lo correcto.
      Una lastima que en Mexico exista tanta estupidez y no sepan apreciar lo que tienen.
