In this Google Spreadsheets lesson, I'm going to show you how to enter data and format it properly.
What is Google Sheets?
Google Sheets is a free cloud-based spreadsheet tool similar to Microsoft Excel. Anyone or any business can use it to collect, organize, and analyze data for almost any type of project (including contact lists, budgets, and just about anything else) you can imagine.
To choose the best format for your data, you should consider the type of information you are presenting and how you want it to be displayed. For example, if you are presenting financial data, you may want to use a currency format. If you are presenting percentages, a percentage format would be appropriate. You can also use custom formats to tailor the presentation of your data to your specific needs.
