the clips of axe 10:19 - 10:34 got me in my feels
Honestly this makes me think about the thought process of some of my favorite mma fighters. Dominick Cruz comes to mind. He literally took bits and pieces of multiple styles and made his own and grinded his ass off. I'll never get the whole " not real sport" argument though. Competition and the urge for growth are in everything. Fuck mario party though.
MMA is a great parallel and it can certainly be applied to the topics of this video! I completely agree with you - competition and a desire for improvement are a part of almost everything!
Beautiful video as usual Walt. Thanks for doing what you do for the community!

This video is absolutely amazing. Keep up the great content man!
Thank you!
I love it. My another great piece of content. Seems like you can do it all man. Combo vids, game analysis, and more longform stuff.
I think melee's goal of king of the hill and not reducing hp makes it so that there are so many correct answers to any situation that the answer you choose really help define peoples personal playstyles.
Also commenting for engagement because youtube is SUUUUUUUPER dumb.
Much love, keep doing what you're doing man.
Appreciate the comment, and thanks for the support! I'm glad you enjoyed the video!

Dude, your vids are Mang0 lvl good!
Thanks so much!
What about HBox? He's still my favorite Melee player.
Despite what modt people say, I find the matches with Hungrybox to be the most interesting and exciting ones to watch, especially the ones where "ClutchBox" comes in.
thats so rude wtf is wrong with you
Amazing content like always Walt! Congrats on 10K, soon we'll be many more 💪🏽

@@turndownforwalt maybe a local? Who knows.... Lol
This video was amazing. I'm going through a very similar path. I was a cross country runner but stopped. I want to try and become a computer engineer, video editor, and gamer all at the same time. And you achieving all of those things is inspiring and makes me think: if he can do it, I can too.
That really means a lot, thank you! Keep at all of it and you'll figure it out!
As a runner and melee player i love this a lot
youre a treasure to the community walt

10:20 ... Axe grew TF up, JFC
Thank you for a beautiful video. I love it :)
Fantastic video. Great editing, great script, and the footage you captured yourself (I assume? the running footage) looked clean and fit really well in the video. I don't know how you keep improving your analysis and content but I'm sincerely excited to see what you do next! This was a very entertaining watch (:
Thank you! The footage was a combination of my girlfriend recording me on a gimbal and drone shots by me - they're a lot of fun to include! Looking forward to hearing from you in the next one!
I loved this video mate. Please keep it up. I love your style!
Thank you!
I agree, I love watching and partaking in mario top play
I'm the new guy, and I'm glad YT decided to send me your way. I'm trash at melee, but it's probably half of the content I consume. The good impression is made because you express well why melee is worth loving.
I'm very glad my videos were recommended to you! Thanks for the comment!
I fuckin lost it at “shooting a basket ball” 😂😂
