Thanks Jeremy for all the great info, but just out curiosity , I did the lab again using OSPF and it worked and i concluded something not sure though that routing protocols are used inside a private organization, company etc but NAT can be used globally, this worked cuz simply its a simulation and internet cloud was actually a router, correct me if I'm wrong
And as always thank you for you're efforts

    • @JeremysITLab

So you configured OSPF on R1 and the Internet router? Yeah then they'll share routes and there will be reachability.

Good evening from this side. Please i have issue on this.
I used similar topology and when I configured the static NAT, I still couldn't ping the internet router i configured with Public IP add but once i configure route from the internet router, the PCs can ping the internet router's public IP address without NAT. I thought it wouldn't be possible to reach public IP without NAT. How come am able to reach the public IP without NAT once IP route is configured on the internet router??????? is it packet tracer issue?

Each ICMP echo request that the PC sends it given its own translation in the NAT table, and each one uses a different port number so they can keep track of it.
