@@DavidBombalTech hey Mr. Bombal, you recently also posted a free course on CCNA practical labs only.....I lost the link and I can't find the post.....can you kindly reshare here...I'd really appreciate🙏🙏😢....I had already started and I don't want to lose track. Thank you.
That's a lot of work you've done. Very much appreciated. I already work as a telecommunications technician but will be following this course all the same. And it really is very important to see and preferable touch and use the physical devices. There's a lot the CCNA does not include that you will only learn by doing.
@@DavidBombalTech Thanks and appreciate your support for showing us Hands-On experience which is very much needed, but would want to know by when will you be uploading your videos on this CCNA course
I started my apprenticeship as an IT Specialist for Systems Integration 2 weeks ago and I've been using your old CCNA course to learn. But this is amazing timing, thank you David.
I'm back at 2006, where I had so much fun with CCNA 2, 3 & 4 with CLM and using real Cisco Routers and Switch. It's true that Packet Tracer made more accesable for those who can't afford any device cisco or practicing at home, but as my profesor told me once "The confidence you gain doesn't come from practicing something you should know. it comes from involving yourself closer to real cases and scenarios."
David, I just want to say how much I appreciate your teaching style. You always come across as so sincere and genuine, and it’s clear that you genuinely care about helping others learn. The way you explain complex topics with such decency and clarity makes it easy for beginners like me to follow along. Keep up the amazing work-your content is a real game-changer for so many of us!
As a person who does not have 1000's of dollars to spare, I will have to be content with looking at google images and youtube videos showing these routers/switches. I hope I can complete this series you have so graciously provided.
Hi David, I appreciate your work and contribution towards the community. This would be a great to learn more on CCNA. Thanks... and much love & respect.
David, i work in this industry and i fully agree with your hands on approach. Its difficult for people however to access these devices without forking out lots of money for lab kits. Its nice to see that you will be including them in your course. A couple of things that the CCNA does not teach however (as fare as i am aware) is, password recovery, IOS installs/upgrades using TFTP services on old equipment (still being used as they are so reliable). New devices have USB ports so you can copy files directly to flash etc. Console access, uses the old blue usb to serial adaptors but are now being replaced with different usb cables such as usbc - usb mini. A tech will have to arm themselves with different console access opptions if they go down the route of break fix/install road. I will look forward to your course. You are with out a dought the best CCIE on youtube. Bravo.
It's amazing how we share your anxiety to teach us in the best way you can what we need. Your passion and will are visible every moment in the contractions of your face as you speak.
Mr. David, your dedication to teaching by using real devices to demonstrate networking concepts is truly inspiring. It’s rare to find someone so committed to sharing knowledge in such a practical and hands-on way. Thank you for investing in our learning and making complex topics accessible and engaging. Your passion for networking shines through in every lesson!
I have watched your video without skipping. I don't remember when I watched a full video last time. Thanks for your hard work. Can't wait for the next video
Finally, for the very first time, I have network clarity! Thank you so much, Mr. Bombal! Totally looking forward to your new “real world” networking course!
Gosh, You're the best teacher I've ever had so far, much appreciated, and guess what you're the first youtuber that I support and I want to keep watching. Thanks a lot
I've been waiting for this video for the past two years! While I studied Networking, I could only practice through labs on Packet Tracer due to COVID. To be honest, I never had the chance to actually see or work with the networking equipment in our college labs. I've been following David on TikTok, eagerly waiting for videos like this. Thank you so much for sharing!
I am a Devops Engineer and did my CCNA certification back in the days. But now when I am getting my hands on Cloud. I thought it would be a good idea to take a refresher on CCNA. and here I am.. I will follow along every single video from the day 1. Thank you very much for your dedication and effort you are putting into this series.
Hi David, thank you so much for making this course available for free, I can't wait to take it. I'm a Computer Network enthusiast and I've been following your great work here on TH-cam from Angola (Africa). I really appreciate all you have been doing to help people build and grow their career in the tech field. Wish you all the best!
That's what I personally struggled with a lot, conceptualizing the topics in physical use. If I'm reading up on something, I would need to revisit the topic several times until I get it. When I started doing remote hands work, I significantly gained a better understanding on everything. This course is going to be a hidden gem with the goals you sought out.
Perfect timing. I am taking the CCNA course now no IT background and as you said what they teach is all theory no connection to the real world! much appreciated for the visual its what I needed Your videos connected the pieces. Thank you for the effort and keep them coming :)
Hello, I’ve been following you for a few years, and right now, I’m busy studying for my CCNA, and your video comes at just the right time. I’m going to follow your course to the letter. Thank you for your explanation, I’m looking forward to seeing your CCNA version 1.1 playlist. A big thank you once again. Greetings from Brussels, Belgium.
this is actually going to help me a lot! i started watching NetworkChuck's Free CCNA Course and im also planning on watching your Course after i finish that one just to make sure i cover as much material as possible! thank you and can't wait to start!
Thank you David for this video and this new course. This is a very timely video for me; I just spent my entire morning reading about a lot of the equipment you showed off in this video, and but I still couldn't tell you what any of them looked like before watching this. I've started studying for the Net+ and CCNA recently, and I'm looking forward to future installments in this series!
APPRECIATE, that despite multiple resources online you still try to make it better and available for us :) As a "late" student this content will be very useful for me in my carrer change period.
and i actually been afraid of the issue you just trying to resolve here.... practical and theoretical are 2 different ways.... where it might cause stressful first encounter with real life situation
I certified as a CCIE in 1997, back then I remember that had to borrow actual physical devices to simulate CCIE lab configs, a lot of 2501 routers, hubs, catalyst-kalpana switches, tokenring routers (I think these were 2502s), I had a big pile of routers in a meeting room connected back to back with V.35 cables (DTE -DCEs) and a lot of ethernet cables to built an actual frame relay network with a lot of protocols redistributing RIP, EIGRP, BGP, static routes, etc. it was really fun and really you have more hands on that today with emulators. After finishing my weekend lab btw I had to disconnect all and return all the borrow equipments to start all over the next weekend :-) , great idea from David using real gear to return to the basics !
Thank you, you care about your students more than they care about themselves. We have learned a lot from you, not only the academic material, but also many principles, the way of thinking, and planning for the future. Thank you, and I wish you and everyone success and prosperity.
Just cleared my CCNA exam. Waiting for something like this which ll help me understand and get deep knowledge on real devices. So, Thank you @DavidBombalTech for this series. Looking forward for more videos.
This video is a perfect example why I use your lessons. I very pleased to see and hear what you want to learn me. Being a MSc mathematician born 46 years ago, I have seen to upcoming of digital networks in the University of technology Eindhoven, but mathematics is more focused on how to think in abstracts. A lot more has to be learned about network architecture, protocols etc. .. the combination of both makes a difference when I try to design something practically implemented using certain very interesting things from the vast field of mathematics. But eventually creating and using these abstract concepts from mathematics, will still be needed to transform from an idea formed by high level abstract thinking written on a piece of paper towards something that can run on the digital network. So for me it's very useful to see the hardware and the total process of building blocks inside the digital network. This way I can see a network design from scratch, information about all the hardware involved with this and the way internet development into what nowadays is used. Thanks for this approach, Mr. Bombal.

I will be a network engineer thanks to your content! It's really easy to understand your explanations, and I am so glad that you invested so much money in those devices. I am already on the third part of your course, which is why I can say that your videos provide a similar experience to when I worked as an IT intern in a big hotel. I hope that doing this course makes you happy, and that reading comments like this brightens your day!

Thank You David for putting in your resources into actual hardware. I recently became a network engineer and have no prior exposure to Cisco devices new or old. I am learning for my CCNA currently and your video is really helpful. Wish to see more video as such. It would be great if you could show us how to configure a cisco / switch physically 🙂

Never done CCNA bjt had the peiviledge of working in data centers, 6509's distribution switch in the early 2000's. Finally doing the course. Thanks for the video Mr Bombal❤
i just say you are amazing and thank you so much for teaching us things in this such a practical and detail way i have no words to appreciate your work that you're doing ❣
David thank you. I had already paid for the CCNA on your website probably two years ago. I completed most of it but never had the chance to actually prepare and take the exam. Although you mentioned you have improved it. The bottom line is when I have been having to pick up the pieces from the collapsing system, the time left more me too deal with my own path has almost been non existent.
With all due respect, i won’t hesitate to call you father! You are a respectable 🫡 man, you are amazing and blessed! I was really waiting for a real practical CCNA tutorial from you! Man, this course will change and transform lots of people’s confidence over hands on site experience! The world lacks this, and you give it here. Much respect Father of Computer Networking! May the journey begin❤❤🎉🎉 big up Mr/ (or should i call you) Sir David Bombal!
AWESOME 👍👏 , simply unbelievable, wish to see all concepts and labs covered in details to make us well prepared for the Network Architect role, thanks Mr. Bombal, much appreciated Sir.
My coworker kept saying “Ethernet and fiber” when referring to copper and fiber. Even after I explained to him that both are types of L1 media used by Ethernet. And they aren’t exclusivly used by Ethernet either. You can use CAT6 cabling for RS232 or analog voice

Thanks 🙏 I'm watching from Papua New Guinea 🙏
Wonderful!
Huge thanks man, this is totally unbelievable ❤

My coworker kept saying “Ethernet and fiber” when referring to copper and fiber. Even after I explained to him that both are types of L1 media used by Ethernet. And they aren’t exclusivly used by Ethernet either. You can use CAT6 cabling for RS232 or analog voice
we are blessed , you live in this world.
Thank you David for this information. You are amazing at what you do
