I love that it's on a fifth wheel frame, fifth wheels are easier and safer to tow, knowing me, I'd use it as a home away from home for vacationing, I lived in an RV for 9 years and I'll never do it again

One of the only tiny houses I've seen where I like the roof. I don't care for the lopsided look that most of them have.(straight one sided angled roof) This looks nice and symmetrical.

Wow! There are a lot of tiny home bashers out there! :) I'm not sure where many of the commenters live but here in Madison, WI three houses on the block that I live on just sold. The cheapest was $289k and the most expensive was $330k. This is not even close to the nicest area in town and these are smaller, older homes, many of which requiring some sort of upgrade or modernization. I can get a REALLY nice tiny home for under $100k and there are many plots of land in the area for well under $100. So I can build a house exactly as I want it, heat it for less than 1/2 the price of a traditional home and quite possibly use solar for much if not all of the electricity. Not to mention that I will have this house paid off in 10 years instead of 30 so the last 20 years I'm banking over $1000 a month that I would be paying for a mortgage. That's $240,000 if it's NOT invested. I understand that many think this is a flash in the pan movement or way to expensive, but just think for a second how much it cost you to build a traditional foundation home to your specs after you bought the land you wanted to build on with top of the line appliances throughout. It is a lifestyle choice but these houses also have top shelf appliances and furnishings. You can ABSOLUTELY go cheaper if you want but this house and many others I've seen are ridiculously well furnished and are worth every penny.

Yep. I was looking into some land options and buying .25 acres for $125k in a horrible neighborhood plus permits to build and prep for utilities would be another $25k ish...might as well just park at a mobile or RV for less than $300 a month and own my house for under $100k.
Dog door! This is a winner! Keyless entry is also sweet. Also like that the back door is on the reverse. The interior scheme is beautiful. The lack of storage, the cabinets by the fridge should have been one big pantry, with drawers, and the too- large (but beautiful) sink are problematic. AC in the roof is more effective in cooling the occupants in that the cool air sinks to the occupants, whereas heart rises. Do like the rail on the stairs, very important. There is no mention of the frame or how it is insulated, would love it if it is aluminum and spray-foam insulated.
Hi, that is why we do custom work - we build what our customers like and what makes more sense to their life style. AC on the roof would not be possible on this specific unit as it is already at 13'4" form the ground. We have done roof ACs but the units need to be shorter as the AC sticks up on the roof another 6" or so. No aluminum framing on this tiny house but it had spray foam insulation
it is all personal preference. Some people go with propane furnaces and window ACs some never care for an AC. Depending on the climate everyone lives in and what their needs are

This has to be one of my favorite tiny homes... I currently live in California and have a mortgage. I’ve been seriously tinkering with the idea of selling my home and purchasing a really nice tiny home like this one. Trying to get a very realistic idea of how much it would cost.

I wish they'd realize that most people pour every penny into these increasingly expensive TINY homes, and that they'll be attached at the hip forever!!! So, knowing that there isn't any WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE TINY HOMES for the disabled, they'd end up being either repossessed (? Do you repo a home on wheels) OR a bankruptcy would have to be done,... OR,... for those WITH ALL THE CASH,... Their already blessed kids would get another goodie!!!!
Love it, I keep finding photos of this tiny house but could never find a video tour until now. This is very similar to the concept I’ve been trying to design, with a few differences. Love that you utilized the rounded ceiling instead of the slanted styles, needs to be utilized more even though I understand it’s more difficult to build it adds more structure too. We plan to build our own, but I’m not sure if we’d feel comfortable building our own slide outs. How difficult are they to build and roughly how much would they cost to have someone else install them? We already plan to have certain work done for us; like roofing, plumbing, and electrical just to be sure they’re done right, so I wouldn’t mind outsourcing the slide outs depending on the cost. I have so many floor pans drawn up but idk what direction to focus on without more info on slide outs.

Absolutely love it. We currently have a 40ft 5ver and we're exploring the tiny home on wheels. This Is My favorite by far. A little tip though, when making the videos, you might want to invest in a gimbal. Makes a world of difference. Also, make sure and move the camera in very slow movements with random pauses. (no movement) Gives us a chance to see everything. Hope this helps. 👍

I like the floor plan but I don't like how the living area is set up. where you have to turn your head like 60 degrees to watch the tv. I would lay that out different. And if got that same tiny house, I would convert the bunk room into an office

Wow, that place is AMAZINGLY AMAZING!!! The loft even has a door. Only thing that would be odd is the strange height of the base of the fridge. All I’d have to do, is look over at the fireplace and the mantle above, and I’d soon forget about any annoyances. WELL DONE!!!
I live in Charleston SC so this is cheap for us. I can get great land for 80k and this for max 100k with everything I want and still come out better. Our small 40 year old houses in good neighborhoods start at 280k.
Sugar Bella Events & Party Decor from what I’ve seen on their website this model usually goes for 80k but it’s a way more bare bones version of the same shell. Many people on here are complaining about the price and while it is a bit pricey, I’ve seen smaller and uglier tiny homes go for substantial more so I don’t think the 80k is completely unfair, especially with the slides.

Tiny houses have become more expensive than real houses placed on real land that you own. I guess this fad wont last long. The whole purpose of downsizing to become debt free has become so expensive that you actually dont see any benefit in these anymore and on top of that not many places encourage these tiny houses to be parked anywhere near them.
These tiny house guys are "getting it while the getting is good". They're charging $ 300 to $ 400 per SF. They're probably making a 100% markup. The public will eventually get wise. You'd be better off buying 2 park models, putting them in different parts of the country and travel between locations and follow the seasons. When not there, you can rent out the park models on Airbnb and recoup your investment.
True tiny houses have now become VERY EXPENSIVE. YOU CAN BUY AN RV FOR WAY LESS. WHAT HAPPENED. PEOPLE BUILD THEM FOR MONEY NOT THE MOVEMENT. IT SUCKS!!!!!!!
Cheaper to buy a low loader hauling gooseneck and converting it yourself with slides. Top that with 3 8,000lbs axles. Better ride when hauling and stronger I beam frame. The downfall will the the neck height but you still have to the 13' 6" legal height mark.
It’s only expensive if you buy one brand new already built, just like actual houses. You’re getting better quality appliances and features which costs a lot more but since you’re only doing a small space you can afford to go all out. Building a house with the same amount of quality would be exponentially more. When the “tiny house movement” started a lot of people were building them pretty basic without thinking about long term functionality, a lot of people realized what a problem that was. Now that they’re being built for more long term 24/7 living a lot more is going into the builds, thus raising the cost-be causing your getting a lot more of the same tiny space both visually and functionally. Also keep in mind places like California or NY where it’s practically impossible to find housing without spending over $1mil, and you don’t have the option of moving your house. Tiny houses are still definitely cheaper, and if you’re looking for cheap as possible housing you can still design your own plan and keep it basic, and as always the more of the work you do yourself the more money you’ll save. People just started realizing there are some things that should be done professionally, having faulty wiring or a leaking roof is not worth the money saved once your living in it.
I agree completely, also take into consideration that this is a depreciating liability, land and a stick built with a foundation is an asset...buy an acre and two brand new shipping containers, spend 130k outfitting it, you will have the best of the best and a 16x40 or 20 amazing home.

I love this home the only thing is that there isn't much of a living room. But other than that I love it. I really like how everything on the outside of the house is explained.

Too much ambient noise outside to understand the narration---once inside, ok. The place looks like a conventional home once inside, and might even make local building codes with staircases and HANDRAILS---YAY! The kitchen is better appointed than in my apartment! Wondering why more designers don't use plinth drawers---so much space is wasted down below on most other homes. The slideouts make a big difference between feeling closed-in and open and airy..With the horizontal slides, why not a vertically telescoping loft/second level? I would have used a recirculating or conventional flush toilet in the bathroom---there already is plumbing built in. I see there is data wired in---what about media?
Hello Adina and thank you for your comment. We custom build our tiny houses and that is why all of them are so different. We build what our customer wants as long as it fits in our codes and regulations.
There is no way that the staircase meets code, same with that decorative railing. Having spent a great deal of my career in the RV and manufactured home industry, I can tell you that this “tiny home” is not following any codes. It’s over weight for the axels, or I’d like to see proof that it can support so much friggin weight. Those drawers for the dog dishes are a complete waste of time and space. Buy a Mobile Suites fifth wheel and a Ram 3500 and save the aggravation.

Others that don't, well that's why we can fast forward the video, rite? 😄 People who prefer shorter video also can not be sure to be really interested in buying the tiny house. They just want to spend less time to watch. Instead, people who want to see details may become interested and ready to buy

Hello, it can totally be towed with your own vehicle no different than a fifth wheel RV. This one in particular with all the add-ons turned out to be 15,500 lbs but a standard Carpathian come right at 12-13,000 lbs.

Who ever shot this video must have been "high" at the time. Next time, use a professional. Why would you use a cast iron tub, which weighs a ton, when beautiful acrylic versions are available at 1/8th the weight?
I think it's intended to be moved one or two times in its life. It's not an RV. RVs are 3 times lighter when you consider the materials used here. You are right about the cast-iron tub. I just replaced my 165 lb cast iron tub and got a porcelain-steel tub that weighs 68 lbs
The upstairs loft wouldn't be practical for seniors with bad knees! Cute area tho, perhaps make the 2nd bedroom with those 3 beds into an area to hold bikes, golf cart, motor cycle, then vault the ceiling and have access to the 3 beds above! Love the living room, kitchen and bathroom/ laundry!!! Beautiful grays for color!
I love THIS ONE! ONE of the few that has everything I WANT! And ONE of the most beautiful and professional ones! Ive just been looking for ones that HAVE 3 real bedrooms a main one w closet space and skimp on nothing the full stove and decent size fridge w dishwasher! Nice living area and bathroom w bathtub and shower as well as washer/dryer w double glass front doors ... This house is great... Id probably add more windows, skylights and make it a lil brighter w more real wood.

Wow, that place is AMAZINGLY AMAZING!!! The loft even has a door. Only thing that would be odd is the strange height of the base of the fridge. All I’d have to do, is look over at the fireplace and the mantle above, and I’d soon forget about any annoyances. WELL DONE!!!

I live in Charleston SC so this is cheap for us. I can get great land for 80k and this for max 100k with everything I want and still come out better. Our small 40 year old houses in good neighborhoods start at 280k.

Sugar Bella Events & Party Decor from what I’ve seen on their website this model usually goes for 80k but it’s a way more bare bones version of the same shell. Many people on here are complaining about the price and while it is a bit pricey, I’ve seen smaller and uglier tiny homes go for substantial more so I don’t think the 80k is completely unfair, especially with the slides.

Should have been built on a triple axle...you have a blowout on even one tire and you'll destroy the backend of that unit.
you will blow more tires with a triple axle than with 2 as long as the axles are rated for the load.
Those are probably discarded wheels and axles from mobile homes.

Tiny houses have become more expensive than real houses placed on real land that you own. I guess this fad wont last long. The whole purpose of downsizing to become debt free has become so expensive that you actually dont see any benefit in these anymore and on top of that not many places encourage these tiny houses to be parked anywhere near them.
These tiny house guys are "getting it while the getting is good". They're charging $ 300 to $ 400 per SF. They're probably making a 100% markup. The public will eventually get wise. You'd be better off buying 2 park models, putting them in different parts of the country and travel between locations and follow the seasons. When not there, you can rent out the park models on Airbnb and recoup your investment.
True tiny houses have now become VERY EXPENSIVE. YOU CAN BUY AN RV FOR WAY LESS. WHAT HAPPENED. PEOPLE BUILD THEM FOR MONEY NOT THE MOVEMENT. IT SUCKS!!!!!!!
Cheaper to buy a low loader hauling gooseneck and converting it yourself with slides. Top that with 3 8,000lbs axles. Better ride when hauling and stronger I beam frame. The downfall will the the neck height but you still have to the 13' 6" legal height mark.
It’s only expensive if you buy one brand new already built, just like actual houses.
You’re getting better quality appliances and features which costs a lot more but since you’re only doing a small space you can afford to go all out. Building a house with the same amount of quality would be exponentially more.
When the “tiny house movement” started a lot of people were building them pretty basic without thinking about long term functionality, a lot of people realized what a problem that was. Now that they’re being built for more long term 24/7 living a lot more is going into the builds, thus raising the cost-be causing your getting a lot more of the same tiny space both visually and functionally.
Also keep in mind places like California or NY where it’s practically impossible to find housing without spending over $1mil, and you don’t have the option of moving your house.
Tiny houses are still definitely cheaper, and if you’re looking for cheap as possible housing you can still design your own plan and keep it basic, and as always the more of the work you do yourself the more money you’ll save. People just started realizing there are some things that should be done professionally, having faulty wiring or a leaking roof is not worth the money saved once your living in it.
I agree completely, also take into consideration that this is a depreciating liability, land and a stick built with a foundation is an asset...buy an acre and two brand new shipping containers, spend 130k outfitting it, you will have the best of the best and a 16x40 or 20 amazing home.

I like this guys presentations! This guy should be your official marketing presenter.
Too much ambient noise outside to understand the narration---once inside, ok. The place looks like a conventional home once inside, and might even make local building codes with staircases and HANDRAILS---YAY! The kitchen is better appointed than in my apartment! Wondering why more designers don't use plinth drawers---so much space is wasted down below on most other homes. The slideouts make a big difference between feeling closed-in and open and airy..With the horizontal slides, why not a vertically telescoping loft/second level? I would have used a recirculating or conventional flush toilet in the bathroom---there already is plumbing built in. I see there is data wired in---what about media?

There is no way that the staircase meets code, same with that decorative railing. Having spent a great deal of my career in the RV and manufactured home industry, I can tell you that this “tiny home” is not following any codes. It’s over weight for the axels, or I’d like to see proof that it can support so much friggin weight. Those drawers for the dog dishes are a complete waste of time and space. Buy a Mobile Suites fifth wheel and a Ram 3500 and save the aggravation.

People who prefer shorter video also can not be sure to be really interested in buying the tiny house. They just want to spend less time to watch. Instead, people who want to see details may become interested and ready to buy

No on both. Our unit weighs about the same as any similar pre fab, and costs about the same, but is much nicer.

Hello, it can totally be towed with your own vehicle no different than a fifth wheel RV. This one in particular with all the add-ons turned out to be 15,500 lbs but a standard Carpathian come right at 12-13,000 lbs.
Is it a RV certified?
It sure is. We are member of RVIA and all our units get inspected by their inspectors.

Who ever shot this video must have been "high" at the time. Next time, use a professional. Why would you use a cast iron tub, which weighs a ton, when beautiful acrylic versions are available at 1/8th the weight?
I believe they said that each tiny house is built to customer specifications so maybe the customer wanted a cast iron tub?
The Seller should have strongly recommended an acrylic, which I purchased for my new home. More pounds adds up and results in less MPG.

I think it's intended to be moved one or two times in its life. It's not an RV. RVs are 3 times lighter when you consider the materials used here. You are right about the cast-iron tub. I just replaced my 165 lb cast iron tub and got a porcelain-steel tub that weighs 68 lbs

The upstairs loft wouldn't be practical for seniors with bad knees! Cute area tho, perhaps make the 2nd bedroom with those 3 beds into an area to hold bikes, golf cart, motor cycle, then vault the ceiling and have access to the 3 beds above! Love the living room, kitchen and bathroom/ laundry!!! Beautiful grays for color!

I love THIS ONE! ONE of the few that has everything I WANT! And ONE of the most beautiful and professional ones! Ive just been looking for ones that HAVE 3 real bedrooms a main one w closet space and skimp on nothing the full stove and decent size fridge w dishwasher! Nice living area and bathroom w bathtub and shower as well as washer/dryer w double glass front doors ... This house is great... Id probably add more windows, skylights and make it a lil brighter w more real wood.
