Im planning on using a D&H PD10MU, the manual says where to connect a buffer capacitor. Would I still need the Zimo Stayalive Controller? The trains are old H0e Egger Bahn Engines, not a lot of space in there.

Amazing that this can be fitted inside the loco even if the sound and stay alive have to be tucked in the cab. A couple of loco crew will help hide that. Is the Stay Alive available for these on its own to run on DC or does it only work with DCC please?

​@@Tramfabriek Hi Sven, you could built an condensator also in analog engines. Did that during my HOe times Problem is, the condensator must be larger than with DCC.

@@steffenrosmus9177 Hello Steffen, I know it is possible and there is even a vendor (Hobbytraxs), but I would not advise this. If one wants more out of their model trains, go digital.
