I've stayed at the Vogue three times in the last 12 months. The best room I had was the junior suite in late June 24. Huge room, and as it was low season, the price was cheaper than smaller rooms in high season. The location is superb, as you said, it's set back from Soi Lengkee so fairly quiet and minutes from the nightlife.
I have stayed there 12 times, i live in Thailand, and it's my go-to hotel for location and cost, I like to be near soi Buakhao, and soi Lenkee has so many places to eat . I always check prices before I book and i never find a better price/location compromise. If you book a room including breakfast, it's not 200 thb more like 80 bhat which is ok.
Stayed here just recently on the 5th floor from 23rd September to 14th October, and just returned back to the UK last week, I enjoyed my stay as you say the staff was very friendly, and I never had any reason to complain, The staff at breakfast was very friendly, breakfast was sufficient, I never eat at the restaurant except breakfast as was included in the price, the bar is a bit expensive if you decide to have a drink there in the evening, the bar closes at 23.00 and has a pool table. The only negative thing for me as a smoker is not allowed to smoke on the balcony, they have a smoke area on each floor so if you are a smoker you have to leave the room which might be a bit inconvenient, I enjoy a cigarette with my morning coffee sitting on the balcony watching the view but still not a deal breaker,I would still s stay there again. There is also a 1000 Baht deposit when you check in, returned on checkout after expectation of the room. You can also get late checkout, check out by 15.00 extra 400 Baht, and check out after 15.00 extra 800 baht. Overall good stay, and a good price, I would stay again.
I stayed there a couple of years ago in a junior suite, after watching a few TH-cam videos. All i can say is they must have a special you that they show people doing TH-cam, because I was very disappointed! I did actually have two trips booked for that hotel, but thankfully, the 2nd trip which I had booked for a 2 week stay, i was able to cancel without losing any money. If i hadn't had already paid upfront on the 1st stay at the hotel, i would have checked out as soon as I had checked in. Thankfully though i was only paying back then £14 a night.
@paulsgetaways That's Fantastic Paul. It's lovely to see you on Darren Johns video. You must have had a Great Time with Darren in Bangkok and Pattaya 😍
@@paulsgetaways Wow, that's Fantastic. 🎉 I got to meet Darren in London Docklands 6 Months ago. I had a few of his favourite Hendricks Gins with him, at a Bar. It was lovely and lovely hearing about his Life. 💖
the vogue hotel is good for its price point and its location your 5-10 minutes away in any direction from lots of fun but I will say when I stayed there for a week I found it to be just ok the beds are quite firm for my liking, my room could have been cleaned much better, my air con had seen better days and in my option I found it to be a older hotel that needs some work done to it and a fresh coat of paint. I much preferer in that price range the march hotel yes its a bit farther out but the quality you get for $10-$15 more per night is HUGE but now I stay in higher end hotels like the amethyst and the amber is next on my list to stay at.
Very good Hotel position ,I stayed there couple years ago. Only criticism is , I just happened to look under the bed there was 20 years of rubbish, bottles, cans, cigarette butts , papers, as the cleaning ladies only clean around the bed. Is this being too critical ? Other than that it is great Hotel, thanks for the review. Cheers.
I stayed there a few times. Good hotel but only problem was many bus loads of Chinese tourists arrive in the evening and they are up early and banging doors at about 6 in the morning going on there tours
I have stayed here before its very tired the gym looks 30 yesrs old rusty equipment mostly out of use rooms large but not great ok for a couple of nights honest opinion
Have to disagree with you,I found it cheap and nasty, room was dirty, breakfast was disgusting and internet was really poor, location is all it has going for it

Glad you had a good stay 😊

On my channel I do try to show the hotels as they are. 😃
Stayed there once. Staff were odd, bathroom was grimy, but the location is good. Wouldn't rush to go back.
Thanks for your commit. Where do you stay these days? 😀

@richardontube I've not stayed yet, it's on the list of places to try.
Yeah the vogue is my go to hotel
Great location 😀
Hi Paul, the Vogue Hotel looks nice. A very good price for £18 🎉
You can't knock it for £18 it has every think you need.😁 and is in a great location.

Agreed, my aircon was set on 16 the whole time.🤣
Stayed here last year..dirty room, balcony door frame moved in the breeze squeeking, smallest safe ever in my room... wouldn't rush back to be fair !
Where would you stay next time?

That's not good, I must say I didn't look under the beds 🛏️ my room was very clean although a little bit dated.

That doesn't sound great, luckily there were no tour buses when I was there 😁
This was before covid. Maybe different now. I have started to stay in the areca Lodge now in soi Diana. Thanks for your videos mate 👍
Hi Paul, could you do me a massive favour and find out cost of room for months stay from April 24 next year, so after Songkran. Many thanks!
Ok, I will see what I can do 😃
Just spoke to the girl on reception 28,500 for 30 days from the 24th of April or 33,000 including breakfast. Hope that helps 😃

The bed looks dirty to me . 😢
No the sheets were clean, although a bit old
good location, but hotel is a dump old and weary.water pressure is bad and the bed was horibble.not more than a 2 star hostel this one.
There were signs of maintenance and painting being done. But the room I stayed in would benefit from a refurb 😃
Because the breakfast not good
I am sure about that
Just in my opinion
You could be right 👍
@@paulsgetaways thanks a bunch
Not for smokers
