Very interesting interview and conversation. I'm impressed with Hugh Freeze insights/philosophy. This is why I love Josh's channel. I can't recall a coach actually stating the status of the team and accepting there are areas that need to be improved.

Honestly, part of the reason there was so much competition was because there was no "volcanic" Saturday.
Most years there are multiple teams that might be good enough to win it all, but have one or two bad losses and get written off. Ergo the field seemed more competitive this year because less almost great teams got written off.
That's my two cents at least.
2021 & 2022 were absolutely the best two seasons in recent history. There were walk-on q.b.s doing some pretty cool stuff. Also, don't forget OH State had a championship IN THE BAG had they made a few more yards to gain and not struck a game ending fieldgoal wide left. No disrespect to TCU, but OH State probably beats them 21-17. GO DAWGS! The 12 team playoff will kill some regular season matches that would otherwise mean something. I hope to watch GA v. Clemson in person, in Atlanta, to open the season. I was in N.C. for that game at the start of the 2021 season. I don't think this years opener will be 10-7, but I'll take it if the Dawgs are on top. Go Dawgs!

All I would say, is this the entire idea that the big two will control the entire flow and process to college football is being perpetuated by people who lack the creativity, and do not have the balls to recognize that the numbers the real numbers, not the money, if used correctly Can crush those organizations the big 12 the ACC and anybody else who wants in who really is willing to fight for it take down the two boys in short order by banding together and being willing to tell ESPN Fox Sports to take a hike and we’ll do it from the inside on our own it is because of a failure of leadership at the university level and the conference level that college football fans have been left with this impression that these two clownish conferences are the real deal and the only deal and the national media eat it up because there aren’t a lot of people in this country really know what it is to fight Because this kind of fight if you really want what you want you’re gonna hurt some people and you’re gonna have to mean to hurt them to get there. I’m an FSU fan I want to go to the Big Ten it’s not because I’m afraid of the EP of the SEC FSU has beaten teams in the SEC on the regular throughout its history and it will keep being SEC teams as long as it can play them. I’d rather go to Dick to put a knife in ESPN even though going to the SEC would be more beneficial to my fan base and my stadium. I wish it wasn’t like that at the same time I don’t wish any harm to my ACC members if I am able to get out, I’m tired of poor leadership. I’m sick of knowing that the conference that we belong to has leaders that would get on their knees in front of the entire nation and say that they aren’t enough and I’ve been the leader of the ACC and that meeting regarding the college football playoff, Greg Sankey would be in the hospital Tony Pete Wood have a couple of broken legs and I would challenge anybody to tell me that my constituents are not worthy of their share that leadership I might go to jail, but everybody would know that the ACC real business. It’s because it’s because everybody wants to get along to get along that we have all this drama that Josh and everybody else loves to soak up. There is the real world and there is the media it’s social media that’s not the real world in the real world there are people who will put you on your assregretfully in college athletics, we don’t have enough of those kind of people

It's no different now than when he used to talk about that. Pate is doing a solid by his persistence, but it won't be easy to slow down the fat-cats raking in the millions off of this once-great sport. I will still tailgate on Saturdays in Athens until I don't recognize my sport anymore, or I'm dead, whichever comes first. GO DAWGS!

Freeze had some insights but it was one of the weakest interviews in this series. I’m sure the Ole Miss Prostitution Service had to change numbers after that blow up years ago. I suspect the reported service number “1-800-GET-TAIL” is just urban legend but what was the real number?
