    Really enjoying the Lightroom tutorials Terry. I’ve just bought a desktop and monitor specifically to start editing which I’ve never done before. So I’ll be using Lightroom very soon. Within a week I hope! I’ve moved from film directly to mirrorless. OMG it’s incredible. I live in the UK but am working in Ottawa for the 2nd half of January so really looking forward to getting some good shots there too. Love your work and your delivery. Very well explained for novices like me. Many thanks. Neil.

    This is the clearest Lightroom Video I have seen.. In particular you explain simply what each setting is. I will be going back and watch them from the start

    I'm loving your tutorials. And I found myself distracted in the color correction section because the location looks so familiar. I know it could be elsewhere, but it really looks like Canyon Drive in Zion National Park.

      Awesome, thank you! I have been to Utah photographing in and around Moab many times. It might be from there.

    Hi Terry: I'm really learning a lot from your videos and appreciate your teaching method for beginners. I just got myself a new laptop to use strictly for photography/Lightroom Classic. I like how in the first video you taught how to bypass putting the photos on the computer's hard drive and using the Sandisk Portable SSD. I love that little portable SSD! I am heading to the Grand Canyon and some national parks in Utah next week and am hoping to get some great photos. I'm still in the learning phase of photography also. Thanks again!

      Hi Julie, that is GREAT place to shoot. I've shot in Canyon Lands, and Arches over in Moab quite a bit - fantatisc place to shoot. Have fun.

    Hey Terry, I'm curious what camera you are using to film yourself in your vids... It's so crystal clear and sharp, and it's your beard hair that first grabbed my attention about that, and compared to even Fortune-50 TV media stations, yours is better! Now, maybe they're soft on PURPOSE, I don't know, but they ARE soft. I'm a new subscriber, and new to REALLY using LRC, I've had it for years, but mostly used PS for basic edits... Whitebalance, curves, sharpness, cropping, essentially 1.74% of it's capabilities LOL... Lovin' it so far!

    • @tv510
      @tv510  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey KevyKev, I use the Nikon Z9. (kind of overkill but that is what I use). Most of the time I shoot on 4K incase I need to crop in on something. Thanks for watching!

    Hi Terry, just getting started with LRC. I'm on the 7-day trial. At the end of this video you were toggling Before and After. How were you doing this? Thanks!

    • @tv510

      Backward Slash key on the keyboard.

    Is it best to apply DENOISE first before or after other edits? Maybe that is "it depends"?

    • @tv510
      @tv510  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      In LRC, Develop Module, if you follow the panels down the right side, color, exposure etc, in that order you should be good. Denoise and sharpening are at the bottom, so best to do last if you can.

    Question: how to toggle between original and modified images in Develop? eg around 11:20 or so, you are going back and forth but haven't said or shown how...

    • @tv510

      HI Randell, I use sRGB color space. It seems to work best with most of my output (printers) needs.

    I'm always surprised in these types of videos that it's never mentioned that the highlights/shadows/exposure etc can be changed by dragging inside the histogram. Also, you don't need to unlock the crop setting if you want to use one of the presets!

      @tv510  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks, sometimes it’s hard to get everything into one video. Good tips.
