I am very pleased with the extreme rate. Instead, I had the scuf for my PS4. So far, I am not disappointed. I can't notice much of a difference.

The rear buttons for the extremrate ps5 controllers are way better than what they have for xbox. Extremrate/hex definitely can't replace a scuf xbox controller but they are pretty good for playstation

The Tomsin back paddles are also not bad.
I have three Dual Sense. Two with Extremerate back paddles and face clicky buttons, and one with the Tomsin. ExtremeRate rise I much prefer the layout, but the tomsin has the benefit that you can assign two buttons to one panel and has turbo. So for most games I use the ER, but there's a few things like FPS where being able to map L2+R2 to one paddle is useful .
Face clicky buttons are so much better for platformers, you get that click response that you have pressed the button.
One down on the Extremerate, I do find the textured back grips can actually become a bit uncomfortable in long gaming sessions (im talking 6-8 hours play)

hi. in the extreme rate package there are 2 small long foam pieces. you can place these under the paddles so that it doesn't trigger so quickly, making it much more comfortable to play.

Thanks for the great video! I've had a Scuf reflex controller for a little over a year, and have had to send it in twice for repairs. I play maybe 4 hours a week, and am very gentle with my controller. Do you feel like the quality of eXtreme Rate is any better than Scuf?

I had scuf and aim, now my final choice is to modify controllers with extreme rate parts. They are absolutely top notch. The last microswitch trigger is the best on the market so far.

A lot of the controller companies out there just use extremrate parts anyway, that's why so many of their Grip and Face design options are the same

@@iBlueClovr yeah and I can say flex cables of Extreme Rate are top quality as well. Their video instructions are well done and most of the people can do it except Rise 4 mod with the need of some soldering (easy).

@@Kaesar_Wolf The extremerate Rise buttons no matter 2 or 4 don't require soldering, soldering is optional if you want to map the thumbstick or touchpad. But they don't clear this well on their site, which has confused many people
