My wife and I have been twice. Xcaret Arte is awesome If you've never been make sure to take a day or two just for the resort. Because when you go on the excursions your gone all day and the resort pools will be closed. Also, it's a taco stand only available late night outside of the speakeasy they're the best tacos I've ever had.
We are getting ready to travel there for the first time over Thanksgiving so I enjoyed every one of your videos. Thank you for all your hard work! I have a question- did you tip the staff? And if so, how much and who did you decide to tip? Did you see other people tipping on the regular? On the Facebook group it seems like people bring hundreds of dollars to tip and I'm so confused with that (we do not travel to all inclusives as a habit), as it says tips are included in the price. Since you never mentioned tipping, yet you always were so happy with your service, I would like to assume tipping is not mandatory to ensure good service. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts! Thanks again!
Hi! We were just there, September 22-28. We had a garden view spa room. We were escorted to our room, both here and last year when we stayed at Xcaret Mexico. Agree, the food and drinks were fantastic. We just went to VIP a few nights before dinner for cocktails. It didn’t bother us that there wasn’t a designated lobby bar. Housekeeping turned down the air. It’s not automated. They do it to conserve energy when no one is in the room. We just turned it back down to 66. It cooled very quickly. Our room was serviced first thing in the morning and between 6-7 pm. We liked having the glass bottles. It felt more upscale. Agree, it would be beneficial to have a second coffee bar. Thanks for the review. I think we watched 2 of your vlogs before our trip. Jen and Joe xo
I agree, that fact that she was surprised to see mostly everyone speak spanish was kind of akward to hear because hello!! You're in Mexico what did she expect?😅 It's a special resort that's fully invested in the mexican culture. There's going to be mostly Mexicans and latin people. This is not your typical Americanized resort with that lousy YMCA songs🤣 and all that boring stuff. It's ALL Mexican which is why I love it so much specially the food. It really makes you feel like you're in Mexico. ❤ Which is why it's so popular amongst Mexicans. I'm staying 2 weeks next year. The 6 nights is definately not enough to fully enjoy it. For those who can afford it it's best to stay minimum 2 weeks or more.❤
The overall summary was really helpful as we consider if it's a good match for us! I think we'd be similar in our park/resort ratio- the resort itself is just really so spectacular with so much to do!

No lobby bar and meh beach yet still highest rated MX resort!? Thats cray cray
@@Dave_ess I know right specially in a all adults resort, they’re probably trying to limit the alcohol intake 😆

Trying to decide which eco park to go to December
Kinda funny when people expect others to speak English but they never make an effort to speak other languages Duolingo is your friend y’all 😅

@@araceli1461 God forbid Mexicans get upset in Las vegas because nobody speaks Spanish in the resorts!😂😂😂🤣
What brand are Kevin’s sunglasses??
They should be linked in my Amazon storefront I think!
You guys mentioned you’ve rated other resorts even higher than this one - do you recall what resort is your highest rated? :)
9.5 to Hammock Cove in Antigua is the highest. ☀️

If you don't mind me asking How much did you guys pay for both rooms for 6 nights?
Oof Atelier catching some shade during the ratings portion 👀
imagine going to mexico and complain because most people speak spanish! hahaha
It’s a stark difference from other resorts and I don’t feel the need to shame them for how they felt.
