We recently booked 8 nt for $7K. Definitely expensive but most people are also taking advantage of the parks which are $100+ pp for each one. We plan on going to at least four which is a huge value. I’ve visited at least 40 resorts in the Cancun area for work and Hotel Xcaret has always stood out to me - between the atmosphere, rivers, activities, parks, and high quality food & drink, it really is in a league of its own. If you’re not interested in the parks and just want a luxurious Cancun vacation then Secrets Moxche, Atelier Playa Mujeres, & Unico are favorites!
@@HazeSobh I’m definitely not complaining at all! It’s way more than I’d pay normally but it’s our honeymoon so we obviously are doing something a little more luxurious. We also booked over a year in advance so that really helps the price
I love Xcaret. One thing that he does not really talk about is that your admission to the different parks and transportation to and from them is also included in your stay. This is another reason why the resort does not feel packed in the daytime. People are taking advantage of this (admission is typically $100+ per person, depending on the park).
I stayed at a Palace Resort last year for my honeymoon and we ended up doing the sales spiel for both Palace and Xcaret. We bought the membership to Xcaret for half of what Palace was offering with WAY more benefits and a much better property/food experience. We are staying at Xcaret for a week next month with 4 of our 6 nights comped because we paid our membership off within a few months. Can't wait to experience staying at Xcaret and at the member rate for the next couple of decades.
I stayed at La casa de La playa last year when it was only 10 months since the opening I paid 2200/day but I decided to try the vip Arte n I booked in July/2023 for January 2024 through an agent and she told me if we book for a group of 10 people we’ll get a huge discount so we ended up paying from 680CAD to 550CAD for a day depends which room. I can confidently say even if we paid 1000/day it is worth every single dollar since the resort has a lot to offer. I will be going there again next year probably in February
I heading there in a few days and staying on the Xcaret Arte side (adults only). If you stay at Arte you can access amenities (including restaurants) on the Xcaret Mexico side (but you can't access Arte if you are staying on the Mexico side).
I live in a Mexican hood in Phoenix, we know our Mexican food and the room service food was great!! It is something we did about 3 to 4 of our nights where we had all day excursions. Room service food is GREAT!
The swim up is good if you don’t like to share tub with strangers aka people who urinate in public pools. My suggestion would be to get a full swim up or room with outdoor pool not the river swim up. They are very different and the price is different but instead of a cold plunge outdoor pool like he said) you get a full size partially heated small private pool
Good callout, I didn’t mention the parks because I didn’t get any footage and the video was already running long, but I believe I mentioned the Xcaret Mexico access
@GoTravelTours is access to the Xcarte Mexico side still included when you're staying on the Arte side? I've been hearing conflicting information. Some say it is included, and others say it's included only ig you're staying in a specific room category or casa.
@@christinad2611 if you stay at the Xcaret Arte you do have access to Xcaret. Xcaret Arte is the adult only hotel. Xcaret hotel is where kids can stay. There are a lot of confusing things about that Resort that takes some research but if you watch enough videos you'll figure it out. There's lots of information on their website and some people even sell cheat sheets for 20 bucks😂. Both hotels give you access to all 10 Parks. you do have to make reservations for eight of them. There are two parks explore and another one I don't remember the name that you don't need reservations. It's the same way with the restaurants, you have to make reservations as soon as you arrive at resort, or else you won't be able to get in. I know it's a lot of information but the resort is so big you'll have to go several times in order to do everything.
Did you count the roof top pools, the waterfall pools at the different casas and the main pools? This resort is expensive because it includes the excursions whether you do them or not. Compare another decent resort without excursions and it's half the price until you add in all of the excursions that are available. Xcaret Arte should make the excursions optional and reduce the price as the excursions are not exclusive to guests of Xcaret Arte. Even the general public has access to them.
We actually went to the rooftop pool once, liked the vibe better elsewhere but you’re right, I forgot to count those! And I agree, the parks are okay, and would be better to drop the price of the hotel and remove the access
To be fair, this was filmed in 2022 in the morning when everyone was probably still sleeping 😴 but a lot of them make money off timeshares, spas (which are not included), and room upgrades. And then of course labor costs are cheaper, as is food and alcohol, and usually quality of food is fairly poor relative to price
Horrible experience. Paid $1500 a night for a $300-500 night experience. You can tell immediately that it isn’t a $1000+ hotel. Service is horrible and employees act like you are bothering them. Barely got a drink trying to find staff to serve at beach. People at hotel are mostly members and you can tell they did not pay more than $400 a night. Throw in the parks and that explains it. You pay $1000+ a night but get a $400 experience because people there are members paying $500 a night plus throw in the parks and it is more like $100-200 for them. High intensity sales experience all over the hotel. Checked Oura and I was more stressed there than at home. Beautiful hotel but service and food quality are not at the level they need to be. Have stayed in Quintana Roo hotels more than 10 times and service was always great no matter the price.

Well 8 nights for 7k is a great deal. I paid 6k for 5 nights traveling this month.

That’s awesome! Sounds like an investment that’s paying off!
How much is the membership?
The 15 outdoor pools include the rooftop pools and pools on the sister property which you also have access to

That’s awesome! We’re going to try some other resorts just to see what else is out there, but Arte has our hearts for sure
For group rates, do you call directly? We are planning a trip next year with about 20 (10 couples).
Going here next week can’t wait!
Lucky! Have a great time!
What about the weather? What are good months to go to that hotel? Meaning no rain, no wind, just warm and sunny.☺️
Late February thru May is your best shot!
One question did you go to the swimming pools in the roof of each House? 😉✨
We did! unfortunately I don’t film up there, but we spent the majority of our time at the main pool
Rooms are super important to me idc if I’m in it 5 min or 10 hours lol
Agreed, just not sure if the swim up option is worth it. You get a great room regardless at Xcaret Arte
Thanks for the info. I made a decision to go back to Panama, Santa catalina island
Thanks for watching! Hope you have fun
Does staying at arte give you full access to Xcaret Mexico? I heard in 2023 you could not dine at Xcaret Mexico if you were staying on the arte side
This could have changed, we were able to dine at Xcaret Mexico, though we only made it over there to the main buffet once

That has changed . If you stay at the artista building you have access to Mexico

What the difference between Xcaret Sale, Advanced Purchase and Best Avilable Rate?
I’m not sure I’ve seen that before..might have to check with the website you’re looking through
@@GoTravelTours Thank You!
He didn’t metion the rooftop pools in each house.
You’re right, apologies! That will bring up the pool count. In my experience, people didn’t spend as much time at those as the main pools
Me encanta ❤️❤️
Thank you!
This is my favorite hotel in Cancun!
Yeah it’s great
You didnt talk about all the xcaret parks and tours included! So worth it!
Those were decent perks, but the hotel experience itself was plenty to talk about

It's because that specific casa that you're in, It's the musica casa. That specific swim up is river water, that is why it is cold.
Thanks for the input!
Price depends on the time of year you go..plug in August thru
Nov for the best prices
That’s a great tip!
You didn't mention that price includes access to the other hotels and 10 parks with more to do than you have time for

They count the swim up pools as part of the number of pools - a lot of resorts do that for some reason, which is annoying.
Yeah I agree! I don’t think I ever saw anyone use those

Why you pronounce it that way tho? Asking for my wife.
That’s how they told me at the hotel! I thought it was “ex-car-et” at first, but the staff all say “shh-caret”
